She heard a sound and called out. “care for a sandwich or want me to do your hair?” She moved toward the cabinet that started to clatter like someone just ran and hid in it. She opened the cabinet and out shot a streak of red like a bullet. “Goodness me!” She bit her tongue as she really wanted to say something else but small ears were present as she heard more noises like raspy laughter. “Little shits.” She mutter very very low still feeling guilting for saying it but really they were laughing after scaring a decade off of her. “If I had a super soaker I would spray the daylights out of you for that one.” She admitted louder and heard more laughing. Closing the cabinet she figured she would keep looking but she would have to be careful not to accidently lash out and hurt them as while they may be troublemakers they were still just foals after all. Even full of mischief they had small bodies that were easy to harm.

“Seriously though.” She looked around. “If you are hungry you really need to come out and get some food now. If it says out to long I”ll have to throw it away and you’ll miss out on lunch kiddo.” She called out and heard scraping and clawing. A little green permafoal looked around from the doorway. “Truce at least until after lunch? I don’t care if you cause mayhem later for the staff but give them today for a break. I’ll even play blocks with you.” She offered out the food for the foal. “Believe it or not I have blocks like this that home but they have little magnets in them so I can build and mess with designs.” She also had whole heating and building kits to mess with things and figure out solutions to venting and piping but she doubted a kid would be interested in heating and cooling and engineering in general. Her job was a lot of math, ducktape and figuring out solutions to crazy building and poor craftsmanship. "If you want I can take you to boiler here and you can help me with my inspection work today kido. I'll let you write down notes and if we find anything wrong I'll let you yell at the teachers on what they need to fix here. It's work but not to bad. I promise."
