Terms of Service:
All players must abide by these terms of service at all times, as well as general Basilisk Stew terms of service. Your Story retains the right to adjust its terms of service at any time for any reason. By participating within Your Story you are agreeing to these terms.
Players typically have 3 strikes and usually, a broken rule will result in being issued a strike. Severe rule-breaking can result in immediate blacklisting, regardless of how many strikes a player has at the given time.
After a strike is issued a player is placed on a private greylist. They will be unable to participate in any shop matters for 30 days. Once the greylisting is lifted they can return to the shop as normal, although the owners will note their strike privately. Players who show good behavior (lack of further rule-breaking) for 365 days will have a strike removed.
Those who have behaved in a way that warrants removal from the shop will be placed on a public blacklist. This is either accomplished by using up all 3 strikes or behaving in a way the owners deem unsafe or no longer wish to associate/provide any services. Blacklisted players will not lose their characters or the rights to their character, but they cannot sell, swap, or gift their existing characters.
For ease, all Your Story characters and companions are being referenced as the character’s within this terms of service.

Ownership Terms:
These terms apply to any and all characters of Your Story, regardless of acquisition or player’s current membership status. All characters are created by Tea or Nym officially and will be logged publicly within the Homed Character’s/Companion’s thread within the group. No other person can create a character for the shop.
Ownership of a character is deemed officially by the listed player noted in the character’s profile within the Homed Character’s/Companion’s thread. There can only be 1 owner for each character. Ownership changes of any nature (swaps, sale, gift, etc) must be logged in the correct thread to indicate to the shop owners an update is needed for that character’s official profile.
Once a player officially receives a character from Your Story they retain non-commercial rights to official artwork.

Characters cannot be forcibly removed from an owner once they are officially owned.

Conduct Terms:
All players are held to certain expectations on how to conduct their behavior. These terms apply to any and all players within Your Story using official Your Story means of communication, regardless of where the interaction is had.
All players must remain civil with one another, regardless of relationship. Hate-speech is not tolerated in any capacity within Your Story, additionally.
Behave honestly. Any attempt to cheat will result in immediate disqualification of related activities and often a blacklisting. Players also may only use 1 account to participate within Your Story, and any attempt to acquire characters under another account dishonestly will result in blacklisting.
Players will not deliberately cause drama or negatively influence the community.
Players will not steal any assets of Your Story.

Any issues should be brought to the owners of Your Story directly.

RLC Terms:
Any character purchased via USD methods from Tea or Nym is considered an RLC Purchase. All RLC Purchases will be invoiced via Paypal. Payment is due within 48 hours unless otherwise specified. Failure to pay may result in the cancellation of the RLC Purchase. Work will not begin until payment is received.
Your Story will not provide refunds unless the work cannot be completed, or the owners are unreachable for 60 days (attempts must be made by the customer to reach Tea or Nym and must either be via Discord or messaging the Your Story mule on Basilisk Stew).
Your Story reserves the right to deny services and refuse payment from any player for any reason. If Nym or Tea refuses to complete an order they must refund the player.

Reselling/Gifting/Swapping Characters Terms:
Only RLC characters (characters purchased via RLC methods) can be sold for USD, which will be noted within the Homed Character’s/Companion’s thread. Sales must be logged within the appropriate thread within the Group for our records. Players may sell their RLC characters for any price they deem fit (what the player feels their character is worth), but they must state what their character was originally purchased for from the shop (which will also be noted within the Homed Character’s/Companion’s thread).
Characters not obtained through RLC sales cannot be sold for any form of real-world money (including cash, gift cards, and other currency methods). They can only be gifted to other players or swapped with another Your Story character.
All characters, whether RLC characters or obtained in other means, can be swapped/gifted for Your Story characters.
All swaps, resales, and gifts must be logged in the appropriate thread(s). Under the table interactions of any sort will result in blacklisting.
Players may not sell, swap, or gift a character not officially logged under their name in the Homed Character’s/Companion’s thread.

Blacklisted Terms:
Blacklisted players can not access the shop in any form. They will be unable to speak in official Your Story settings, may not participate in any shop events, sales, or games, and cannot acquire any further Your Story characters. All characters also can no longer be traded, gifted, or sold, and their character’s profiles will indicate this.
Do not harass anyone on the blacklist, nor pry for details of their blacklisting.
