Sometimes figuring out a new character or finding an RP plot/partner can be a bit difficult. Or, maybe, you just want to stretch your muse. Either way, ice-breaker prompts are a quick and easy way to put your characters into a spontaneous situation where you, the player, can decide if you want to continue to build on the idea with yourself or someone else or just collect a little AP on the side!​

Whatever the reason may be, you've come to the right place.​

​

Ice-breaker prompts are hosted weekly (as long as schedule permits). A prompt will be posted on Monday, introducing a new scenario. Players will RP their pony, in-character, reacting to the scene. This is not an ORP -- there should only be one post per pony involved! However, if you wish to develop the idea further with another player and take the RP to the Roleplay Adventures you are more than welcomed to! ​

Players also will receive 1 AP point for posts, capping at 3 AP points. You can continue to enter the current prompt after, but you won't accrue more points. ​

The prompt will refresh the following week and players can return to entering as they had before.​

• Players must use the form when posting.
  The form helps us know if your post counts for AP points (you'll still need to redeem your points here), and lets other players know if you're interested in being contacted to develop the plot further.
• Don't enter for older prompts.
  The current prompt will always be shown in the post under this one.
• You can earn a maximum of 3 AP points per prompt round.
  You can continue to enter ponies after your 3 AP are earned, however!
• You must at least type 80 words for it to count towards AP.
  Basically mirror the requirements for Solo RPs to count towards AP!

A quaint pub within Dream Valley bustles with more activity than it's ever seen before, crowded wall to wall with excited ponies. The owners certainly have bit off more than they could chew, but the revenue pouring into their hooves as visitors order drink after drink has more than made up for it. In the center of the pub stands a tall and well-kept Unicorn, adorned in soft silks and gemstones weaving through their long purple hair. ​

It's Joy Found, a popular streamer on Flick.​

​

Joy Found has circled around themselves several tables, crowded with covered dishes. Cameras float around her, positioning themselves to catch the best angles as pony after pony gags, coughs, and shout as they try the meals set before them. For any who follow Joy Found they would know she's hosting a stream where ponies try infamously terrible food on camera. For those who are normal visitors of the pub it's, honestly, just a lot of chaos.​

Regardless of the reason your pony is here they've found themselves caught in the midst of the action. What do they do? Do they try one of Joy Found's horrific foods on stream? Are they there for a quick drink from the pub? Well -- why don't you tell us? ​

​

If your pony tries a covered dish you can decide what they've eaten, and their reaction. Joy Found is an NPC any may use for flavor text or short responses.​
