Area 01: Newbreeze Grasslands [Starter]
Coastal, Plains

Outside of the burgeoning Doveport's makeshift walls, a wide berth of pleasant plain yawns along the beautiful ocean seaside. The thick, welcoming grassland dances, little more than a beautiful emerald under the ever-present sea breeze. All along the coast sand mingles and sparkles with the splashing of the brilliant waves that wash over it, and though only a few gnarled trees dig their roots into the sandy loam here and there they still dot the landscape, with most of the arable soil growing thick with the wild sod.

Shadows dart between blades of the thick plant life, and, perhaps making the hopeful trainer a little nervous, barely visible outlines can be seen bobbing above the fibrous waves of pasture now and again. Perhaps surprisingly given the scenery, no large beasts seem to roam the area! Maybe the nearby human presence wards them away, and yet there is no lack of smaller, more settled life here.

Area 02: Darksallow Valley [Beginner]
Dark, Forest, River

Following a major, freak storm that hit the Fairlight Bay and Doveport area, a section of the eastern mountain collapsed; since the city's development was small, there was little damage, but the collapse revealed a passageway through a small cavern into a wildly different environment than the bright beaches and rolling grasslands that were the first impression of Nauwill.

Darksallow is a densely forested river valley, settled between two towering mountains. The thick trees provide ample shelter for a vast array of wildlife, and the wide, deep river beckons to be followed and explored. The air is thicker here than near the coast, and at times the foliage is so intense it blocks the sun from the banks of the water.

The area gets its name from its appearance at night, where the flowing current seems to come alive with flashes of strangely golden light both from deep beneath the water's edge and from eerie flickers of pale glows spotted through the heavily clustered woods.
