Addressed Forum Suggestions

This post details thought-out suggestions that have been made that have ultimately been refused, as well as the reason why. It will be updated as possible. Threads made with subjects pertaining to these categories will be immediately locked and removed without explanation.

Deleting sub-forums in groups: Deletion is not allowed due to potential abuse / hiding of illicit activity. This is the same reason post deletion is not allowed. If you need a sub-forum removed in a group, contact an administrator or a moderator!

Showing quotes underneath quoted messages: This is similar functionality to a comment thread system, which is ultimately not the focus of the site. We are a forum, and will maintain standard forum behavior.

Disabling post styles: Due to the way that post styles work (by inserting bbcode, thereby being removable if desired), this is impossible without removing all forum formatting.

Changing post timer / changing post timer for certain forums: Refused because current post timer is global and would require a total system rework.

Allowing moderators to post in locked threads: This system is in place to ensure moderators know they're posting in the right location and are actively working at changing a previously locked thread.

Tracking cred gifting/sending: A more fully fleshed out trade system is planned once the non-forum portion of the site is ready! Sending creds is more intended as a tipping or gifting system, so shops will be advised to use the trade system in the future.

More subforums: Once more people begin to join and the need for deeper subforums arises, we will definitely add more to help keep any one forum from being totally glutted!
