What are edits?

These are changes to the base line art. Typically referring to unique edits to the lines.

What are the different edit levels?

Unedit - Using templates to make a kitsu. Facial expressions can be unique.
Tweaking templates to make them work with the kitsu is still considered unedited.

Minor - Using a mixture of templates and simple unique edits to make a kitsu

Heavy - Using detailed, many, and/or large unique edits and some templates to make a kitsu

Extreme - Using almost no templates, including poses. Almost entirely Unique edits
and typically heavily detailed.

You can think of these in terms of percentages.
unedit: 0% Unique edits
Minor: 1-45% Unique edits
Heavy: 46-90% Unique edits
Extreme: 91-100% Unique edits​

Mutations

Mutations are a specific type of Unique edit.​

Mutations are edits that effect the body of the kitsu, that have not been templated, and aren't related to features of other kitsu breeds.​

​

Hybrid Mutants are kitsu with a mixture of breed traits from 2 or more breeds that also have mutations. Mutations could be to the breed traits or not.​

Mutations are treated exactly like other edits when determining edit level​
