General information about Battling
- Battles are a way that dragons resolve conflicts among one another, some battle to get stronger, others will physically hunt creatures to protect the lands.
- Young adults and Adults are the only ones who can battle.
- Most Faun and Fodder cannot attack, but they can help a dragon in battle or in quests. Frilled Lizards are exceptions.
- Multiple dragons or creatures can be in a fight.
- When attacking you must state which attack you are using when you roll 1d20 to attack, and who you are attacking if there are multiple creatures in the battle.
- A success on an attack is based on if you match or beat the AC (Armor Class) of your opponent. For those attacks that have a limit on the number you can use them in battle that slot is used even if you fail to hit your opponent with it.
- Rolling a Natural 1 on your attack is a critical failure and you end up doing half of the damage of your initial attack upon yourself.
- Rolling a Natural 20 on your attack is an automatic hit. 20's cannot be dodged or defended by opponents, critical hits do x2 damage to your opponent.
- Each dragon and Faun have their own starting stats which can be improved by titles or Items.
- Fodder stats cannot be improved.
- To determine turn order in a battle everyone needs to roll 1d100, the highest number goes first and so forth. Staff will roll for entering beasts if encountered.
- The first post of a battle or a quest that leads to a battle must have the listed characters for that battle, along with each individual's stats and titles along with their effects.
