Aerika was born in Unova, in the capital city, where her father owned and ran a few of the local Pokemarts. As a teenager she was a very carefree spirit and eventually her parents realized they wouldnt be able to keep her tied down. They made sure her bank account always had money and that she knew that so long as she lived under their roof, she would always have them to help her. Eventually, she heard about a new region in some far away place and decided she wanted to go see it. The night before her high school graduation she packed a bag full of all her essentials; and immediately after receiving her diploma, hugged her parents and ran off with her friends to the airport. Her grand adventure was about to begin.

- Fiercely loyal: has been known to stand up for her friends against bullies and thugs. Will always try and help her friends when they need it.
- Loves pokemon: no pokemon is ugly or unlovable. there are no bad pokemon, just bad trainers. She does not fear any pokemon, her favorites being some of the more obscure and "scary" pokemon. She finds it easy to connect with any 'Mon she meets.
- Optimistic: Tries to find the silver lining in everything and never expects bad things to happen.
