Character Name: Alastor 'Al' Graves (His last name was something he made up after ditching his actual last name to cut ties with the family that didn't want him, when he ran off to join team rocket)

Character Overview: A quiet, loner, strong-silent type. Would rather rely on pokemon than people as he has trust issues. He hopes to better himself by coming to Nauwill since he is an ex-rocket member. In an effort to start fresh, and attempt to have good socialization, he has decided to help Nauwill grow. He will explore and go on his own journey. He especially likes music, smokes (though he is trying to kick the unhealthy habit), and his mons.

- riding in cars or other automobiles (makes him a nervous because he was in a car accident)
- spicy food
- board games (mostly cuz he's bad at them)
- hot summers (he prefers autumn temps)
- commercials when a good show is on
Hobbies: sewing and making accessories for his pokemon, listening to music and learning guitar (since he never had the chance as a kid), reading
Three Strengths:
- good listener-will listen when someone needs to vent etc
- quick learner-picks up on things relatively easily. like when receiving instructions. this made him a good rocket lackey.
- artistic/creative-making stuff for his mons
- let emotions get the better of them sometimes
- trust issues, prefers pokemon over people (hopefully starting over in nauwill will help with this)
- disorganized, a tad messy but it doesn't bother him at all.
History:
When he was young his single mother died in a car accident alongside her pokemon. Al was injured but survived. He bounced around from relative to relative. No one wanted to keep him as he was a ‘trouble maker’ and caused them problems. Though really he was only acting out for attention. He was lonely and didn’t have many friends. He spent a lot of time in Lavender Town, mourning the loss of his mom and her pokemon. While visiting the gravesite, he met a ghastly. It kept trying to prank him and make him smile and laugh. Eventually it followed him home and refused to leave. So he let it stay. His caretakers weren’t happy about it though. They thought it would just make him get into more mischief. Al became angry with them and decided to run away. In which he was successful. No one came after him or anything. Which only seemed to upset him further. He took up stealing for food, clothes, or anything else he wanted. He was picked up by some older rocket thugs. They kept him around for odd jobs, and anything else they didn’t feel like doing themselves. He basically grew into the role. Became a Rocket lackey. And just did whatever he was told.
His desire for change again made him leave Team Rocket. And being put in an uncomfortable situation with his back against the wall. Violence had never bothered him before. He was used to it. But when someone pulled that against his own pokemon, he was NOT happy. He took his pokemon and quit. He was old enough now to survive on his own. He didn’t need anybody else.
