Willow prefers to be called Willow and is graduated near top of his class in the areas of pokémon physiology and nutrition. He likes to gossip, run his food/personal blog The Stewed Carrot, and is currently working for Alain Basswood, his publicly acknowledged boyfriend, as personal nutritionist and social (online) media rep, including for his team.
His personal pokémon partners include Suzuko, a chingling registered when Alexis turned five and evolved into a chimecho when he excitedly accepted his job, and more recently the whimsipunny Dream, who enjoys grooming other pokémon.

Recently graduated from a top university in his home region, Alexis Willow has lived a somewhat privileged life. Not quite the most elite, but with a family known for its illustrious tea ceremonies, he was never left wanting. At least he'd say so on the surface, and only as long as his overbearing father and submissive mother were around. In truth, he was shackled by a life his father wanted him to lead - it was never in his interest to take over the family business, and talking his parents into letting him attend education was only a way to put some distance between them.
It was a surprise, however, to get a job offer as quickly as he did! One thing led to a surprising other, and soon he was hired - then swept off his feet. It would be impossible to say no to an athlete he always admired, especially if it meant saying goodbye to that horrible life he'd left behind permanently!
He likes to think his current job's requirements as a challenge, as much as his boyfriend drives himself and his pokémon team to new heights. Proper nutrition is fundamental to athletic performance, but it's not always easy when your partner offers to buy everyone take out ... or when you've found yourself in the middle of a strange island surrounded by who-knows-what.
A lack of shopping, entertainment ... really anything civilized. That's what.

- being told to wait a minute more than once
- full dresses, skirts are okay
- being asked to pay
- not understanding how a pokémon can eat that - it means a full night of research

- making sticker designs and posting them to his blog
- chatting online with friends
- visiting the pokémon center to feed and groom other pokémon, usually with his partner Dream
- Deeply researching pokémon diets and how to improve them and don't tell his friends how nerdy he can actually be they just cook stuff good right?
Three Strengths:
- Knowledge
- With good enough credentials from his university to be recommended to and hired by a top athlete, Alexis is really pretty knowledgeable in the realm of physiology and nutrition.
- Persistence
- Having survived a harsh upbringing of his bigoted family unknowingly trampling on his identity and thus self-worth, Willow has tried to make the best of a life he is uncertain about in the darkest parts of the night.
- Grace
- Part of his upbringing included rigorous martial skills and long hours of studying ceremonial procedures. Willow is willowy.
Three Flaws:
- Gossipy
- Along with people watching, he really likes to talk about them as well, and even though he's not really mean spirited about it, there are certain kinds of people that can't tolerate gossip at all. Especially if it travels and arrives at them.
- Stubborn
- While it has its upsides stubbornness can be a detriment too, and there's been at least a few cases it's caused the drop of his grade on an exam or arguments that really didn't need to be between now former friends he wishes he would have kept.
- Cowardice
- Some days you just can't handle touching gross, slimy bug or hulking, monstrous pokémon right ... and it kind of actually, really impedes your job as a pokémon researcher sometimes. Lots of times.
