Character Name: Bailey
Pronoun Choice: She/They
Age: 22
Home Region: Johto
Personality Overview:
Five Likes: Routine, Purpose/Feeling Useful, Acoustic Music, Physical Exertion, Justice
Five Dislikes: Spicy Food, Liars, Unclear Instructions, Chiptune/Electronica Music, Inactivity
Hobbies: Singing, Guitar, Spreadsheets
Three Strengths:
Loyal : Bailey doesn't trust easily anymore, but if you earn that trust you'll keep it. Bailey is loyal to people more so than concepts, which is what got them in trouble the first time. This time they're going to pick better people.
Kind : Bailey is a bleeding heart ; now they've been through therapy they've even embraced that aspect of themselves. Bailey actively nurtures this trait, and has some reminders stuck up on their wall that simply say; Be Kind.
Honest : Therapy was good for this too - another trait that Bailey cultivates is being honest. It's just. Easier. It's hard too don't get them wrong - but it's worth it.
Three Flaws:
Indecisive : Perhaps burned by the mistakes of their past, it takes a long time for Bailey to decide on anything. This applies to both little things and big ones - Bailey will eat the same meal every day rather than make a new choice, and when making important decisions, they prefer to outsource to someone (anyone) more qualified.
Self-Critical: They're working on it, but Bailey's default option of thought pattern if something went wrong is that it's their fault somehow.
Stubborn: Here's the thing- once Bailey decides on something, that thing is set until something goes horrendously wrong. Which....could describe the whole Team Rocket Grunt debacle quite well, actually.
History:
It had been a mistake.
Leaving home, travelling to Johto, falling in with Team Rocket, the whole thing had just been a mistake.
And they planned to spend the rest of their lives making up for it.
Which was why they were here, they guessed.
Well, that and their therapist's recommendation, along with a lot of hard work.
It would be worth it, though. To give others the same second chance to do something /good/.
