Character Overview: The self-envisioned dashing rogue entering his second prime - or maybe a midlife crisis, depending on who you ask - Diego is a practiced treasure harvester and hunter. He enjoys the thrill of discovery and can be a bit of an adrenaline junkie.

Hobbies: Wildlife observation sketches, market stalking/reselling, barhopping, berry breeding.
Three Strengths:
- Willing to experiment
- Diego isn't set in stone in most anything he does, and if one way doesn't work out he's more than willing to try a second, third, or fourth method of accomplishing something. Getting stuck in a rut is a fast track to failure, after all!
- Brave
- Diego is willing to face fears and steel himself against obstacles that frighten him in order to accomplish goals or help those close to him. He's definitely not "not afraid of anything,' it's just that very few things will put him off attempting to navigate them anyway.
- People-person
- Diego loves being around people! He enjoys getting to know others and has a knack for remembering things about them. Making friends is one of his favorite things.
- Dramatic
- It's hard to fully trust stories Diego tells; even though no, really, the magikarp was this big! He has a tendency to over-dramatize facts - not outright lying per se, but making them seem... just a bit larger than life. It's more fun that way!
- No sense of self-preservation
- Death isn't even a thought for Diego. Serious injury is barely a consideration for himself; he won't put others in the path of danger, but he doesn't really register that he could get hurt. While this has led to him being, well, hurt more than once, it never really seems to stick.
- Hustler
- Okay, but, how can he make money from this? Diego has a mind for money making and an eye for valuables. Unfortunately, this interest might go a little too far - he has a tendency to turn hobbies into side hustles and his first thought with any significant discoveries is how can I sell this? Museums be damned, collectors have more money, you know?
