Character Overview:
Lang presents a confident and charming persona. Part of that's ingrained habit and part is his true self. His flair for the dramatic and attention to detail helped with all the contests his mother dragged him to and helped cement his sense of self and just how capable he was. Behind the curtain he has a hard time finding it in himself to care about things that others do. Now that he's put his contest days behind himself, he's not as willing to share about himself as he once was.

Three Strengths:
- Debonair ( confident, stylish, and charming )- Lang has all the confidence and sense of style only someone who has been a lifelong participant in the fashion world can have. He knows exactly how to dress to impress and schmooze with the best of them.
- Self-assured - Nothing much fazes him. He's been pushed to his limits both in battles and in contests and he's confident in exactly how much he can push himself.
- Capable - He's been taking care of himself for awhile now and he knows exactly what his limits are. Between caring for his pokemon and cleaning up after shows, he's found where he needs help and it's not very often. He won't try to tackle things out of his league.
- Private - After having so much of his life put out as a show for others, he's tired of everyone knowing his personal business. Unless it involves you, you can keep your nose out of it.
- Etiquette - With how often it was drilled into his head, it's no wonder Lang gets caught in what's polite and what society expects more often than he wants. It's a habit that he's struggling to break, but years of training don't get broken so easily.
- Dramatic - It's fun. Between contests and just his mother's general personality, Lang got more of a reaction when he hammed things up. Once he got started he found it funny to just keep doing it. Especially when it gets adverse reactions. Sure he could tone it down, but why should he?
- Impassive - For all that he pretends, it's hard for Lang to care about things. In his head he knows he should care, but why bother. What's the point?
- Detail oriented - Lang likes things to be as perfect as he can get them. He gets stuck on all the little details. If he spends enough time on them, then the end product will be just as perfect, right?
History:
Originally from Johto, whenever his parents separated each of his parents took one of the twins. His Mom took Lang and moved the two of them to Hoenn. There she got the two of them into the contest league and dragged them all over the region. Lang was an oversized dress-up doll that got paired with whichever of her pokemon would work the best for the contest they were supposed to be in that day. He did pretty good for himself, and won a generous handful of medals that stayed with his mother's pokemon. All of it was attributed to his mother and eventually he got sick of playing along with it.
The moment he could, he broke away from her. Taking a page from her book, he decided to move entire regions away. Nauwill was the closest place he wanted to stay. Might as well help out on the island, mapping it, finding pokemon, the works.
