Character Overview:
Hoshika loves to have good natured tousles with other people. When she isn't modelling fashion for her twin, she's getting her hands dirty tending to her garden. She's boisterous and full of life, unwilling to let a single moment slip by unappreciated. She'll jump into things feet first without pondering too long about consequences. Hoshika is loud enough that you can tell when she's coming and where she's going. If you need someone to hype you up, she's the gal to look for. Three Strengths:
- Outgoing - Hoshika puts herself into social situations eagerly and finds them easy to navigate. She might not always get all the right social cues, but she's always quick to hop into a conversation and try and make everyone feel included.
- Self-assured - It's a feat in and of itself to get her down. She knows what she's worth and where she's going and nothing anyone tells her will make her doubt herself. Aside from her twin or big sister maybe.
- Assertive - As a strength, it helps keep her from bending to things she'd rather not bend to or that would hurt her. She knows how to push to get the results she's after and take control of the situation
Three Flaws:
- Impulsive - Hoshika is the type to jump into things feet first without thinking on consequences. If it feels right in the moment then she's gonna do it. What consequences come of it she'll deal with when they arrive.
- Overly Assertive - As a weakness, sometimes Hoshika doesn't know when to back off. Everything is "Go go go!!" so much of the time that putting on the breaks is more of an effort than just keeping on. Are you sure you don't want to brawl? What about now? Now? Oh you want to fight now, perfect!
- Overworked - So much of her energy is put into going farther, faster, doing more, that she forgets to give herself the breaks she needs until she gets super sick and HAS to take a break. She's got her family to take care of her when it happens but she always thinks it won't happen next time.
History:
Hoshika and her sisters childhood was nothing special. Their parents were both breeders, though they specialized in different pokemon. They got enough renown that sometimes people would try to get on the twins good sides to get a pokemon. Hoshika and Cherika's older sister Savita followed in their footsteps, becoming a breeder specializing in eevees. The twins both help with that, training up eevees and their eeveeluitons to offer to worthy trainers.
Hoshika and her twin Cherika both graduated and earned their battle licenses to start through the gym league when their parents decided to up and move. Starting off again in Hoenn burned both their will to go through all the effort of getting their licenses and trying again. Two gym badges from Sinnoh was good enough. Their sister messaged them to let them know about Nauwil and the new eeveelutions they had caught sight of, so they set out with a gift from their sister each and arrived at the new island excited to get these new eevee types to take back to their sister.
