Character Overview: Tarou is a blunt sort, too often showing any sort of care only to whatever his focus of the moment is. In the right setting or with the right people, he comes along with a brash, perhaps even smarmy personality, and in either case he oozes with a confidence many would envy. Uninteresting people are entirely disposable in his eyes, and he has no problem making that known.

Three Strengths:
- Empathic: Tarou has a fairly easy time putting himself into others' shoes and understanding what they're going through. It doesn't necessarily mean he'll agree or support them, but he can typically at least see multiple sides of an argument and will sympathize with how others feel on a topic. This doubles as not only allowing him to offer comfort to friends or family, but also serves quite well to try and persuade others to his side - as it's much easier to win a debate with understanding than hostility.
- Flexible: Tarou has little problem 'going with the flow' when necessary. He is fine with schedule adjustments, changes of plans, and sudden deviations from a given path. He is rarely bothered by such things unless they're done from a point of malice, and he's typically happy working around them or formulating new ideas in the moment as needed.
- Organized: Tarou has an excellent sense of organization and remembering that organization. He can fit things in spaces they seem like they couldn't go at first glance, quickly figure out sorting schemes for papers and files, and just has a natural knack for scheduling efficiently. He also rarely, if ever, forgets where things are or where they go once he's put them into place.
Three Flaws:
- Indulgent: Tarou does what makes Tarou feel good in the moment. Whether it's buying a new accessory, splurging on expensive foods, or getting into an entanglement he'll likely regret later, he has no reservations in doing so. Life exists to be enjoyed - what's the point, otherwise?
- Possessive: Things that Tarou values and holds dear are his. This doesn't just mean objects, though he is quick to snap at people that touch or mess with his things without permission, but it includes people as well. He can be quite jealous when it comes to those close to him, and he's not above inserting himself into situations he doesn't belong to 'protect' what he sees as belonging to him.
- Brash: Tarou has no problems saying what he thinks in most personal situations, and he won't sugar coat it either. He gladly serves negative thoughts and opinions on a silver platter, and he won't apologize for doing it. Combined with a somewhat rough attitude, this can cause him to come off as grating, especially to those he's being so honest with.
History:
Tarou was born outside Goldenrod City in Johto, and he spent his early years playing and enjoying life at its outskirts. It was here that he first fell in love with the bright colors, varying patterns, and sharp shapes and angles of design and fashion, and even when he left home with a friend at a fairly young age, he'd never forget that spark. He has since worked hard at molding himself into the skilled and beautiful visage he is today, traveling the region and later much of the world in his pursuit of experiencing more of the world he so (secretly) admires.
Yamada has come to Nauwill to experience the lush wild of the new land, among other more personal reasons. His intention is to set up shop as a stylist, capable of working both on human and pokémon clients, though he is a bit begrudging about having to work out of the Enrichment Center while no shop space is available.
