Social Structure:
This warren is solely comprised of dwarf rabbits. Giant rabbits, as the dwarfs call them, are too large for the delicate work of mushroom cultivation, so they are kicked out or abandoned at birth. It may seem cruel but it is better then the alternative of feeding them mushrooms. Anyone who is caught trying to keep a giant offspring will be banished with the offspring while the rest of their offspring will remain in the warren. Bucks and Does can chose what ever job they desire within the warren as jobs are not limited to who can do what.
Roles:
Head Rabbit: Is the leader overseas the happenings of the warren. They make final decisions for the warren and decide who can and cannot stay in the warren. Conflicts among warren members will also be brought to the head rabbit as he will have a final say in the outcome of the conflict, this includes rule breakers. New products of mushrooms are also to be first brought to the head rabbits attention. If the head rabbit deems the product to be worth wile for their warren the information will be past on through out the warren.
Growers: These are the rabbits that tend to the mushroom gardens of the warren. The Rabbits don't eat the mushrooms they grow, but they use them for different aspects for the warren. Some may use them as dyes, others as apparel, there are many other uses these rabbits use mushrooms for. Some growers will grow mushrooms in arrangements around the warrens lands sorta like a mushroom garden.
Dyers: Rather then using berries to dye their coats these rabbits use mushrooms to do so. They take rain water and soak mushrooms in them to create these dyes or paints. Dyers are the rabbits who try to find new methods of creating different colors using mainly mushrooms. The dye colors that rabbits are currently limited to in this warren are: Dull Yellow, Rust, Light-yellow, white and various of browns.
Burrow Keepers: These rabbits are the cleaners of the burrows, they make sure the mushrooms do not invade their living space. Another job that these rabbits have are keeping an eye on the little ones in the warren. Often when their parents are out doing their own jobs for the day.
Defenders: These rabbits are the defenders of the warrens lands, often up holding the peace of the warren. If there are visitors to the lands these rabbits accompany them through the lands. If a defender spots a problem it will be reported directly to the head rabbit. Defenders can also accompany Foragers outside the warren as a means of protection in their search.
Foragers: These rabbits go out each day to look for food for the warren. Some times foragers come back with newly discovered mushrooms for the growers to cultivate. Most rabbits in this warren will be foragers, these are pretty much considered the 'citizens' of the warren.
Apprentices: These rabbits are the children of the warren. Once big enough they then chose where they would want to work with in the warren. Apprentices follow the adults of their chosen roll for a while before they become adults, learning the ropes of the role from them before officially becoming a member.
Death:
Is a natural way of life, rabbits will eventually die. When a rabbit dies in this warren their bodies are buried and then used to grow mushrooms on-top of them. Growers will often grow the rabbits favorite mushroom on top of them as a reminder of that rabbit to the rest of the warren.
Visitors:
The warren does allow visitors to their lands, as long as they do no disturb the mushroom gardens. The only exception are Giants. As Giants are forbidden in the lands. Visitors are only allowed to stay a few days before they are pushed out. Visitors must always be accompanied by a defender during their visit to the warren. If a visitor wishes to stay in the warren they must talk to the head rabbit.
Joining:
All dwarfs are welcome to join the warren. Everyone wishing to join needs to have a reason as to why they wish to join this warren. That reason must be presented to the head rabbit and then they will decide weather or not they will be part of the warren. All kits born in the warren are automatically considered part of the warren. As kits grow into adults they will then decide if they wish to stay or leave the warren. Adults who have left the warren on good terms are always welcomed back into the warren.
