It's happened again folks, Smoke and Split have had their second litter! While this litter may be Split's third, both parents are hoping that these kits are kept safe from all the drama that their parents have endured over the seasons. Smoke is delighted to have another litter and is prepared to shower these kits with all the love and affection they deserve. Why, it also seems like Split is willing to take a fatherly roll with this litter - what a joyous turn of events!

Extended Unknown Family
Consisting of Pidgeonflight, Split's ex and Streamheart, his daughter and the kits' half-sister, these MountainClan cats have only brought pain to the Smoke and her family. After a confrontation between Split and his daughter, Streamheart disowned her father and cast him out of her life entirely.

While their MountainClan half-sibling will be mentioned, it will not be in a good light and both Smoke and Split will firmly press upon the kits that they are never to go to the mountain or to MountainClan. It would break their mother's heart to have her children seek out the very cats that hurt her so deeply. Of course, they're more than welcome to join the other three Clans, or a loner colony, or well, even start a group of their own! Just stay away from that MountainClan!

Rules

* You may enter for both kittens, but you can only win one.
* Staff are welcome to join this contest! The only players who cannot join are belloblossom, NatiStorm and PeterPan_da144 as they already have a kit from this litter!
* These kits will begin as loners, but what they do in their adulthood is up to them. There will be In-Character consequences if they choose to go investigate or join MountainClan.
* The naming theme for this litter is Positive Mental Attributes (hope, honesty, generosity, determination, etc.)
* You can edit your entries up until the closing time of the contest. If any part of your form is incomplete by the closing time, your entry will be disqualified by the judging process.
* This is a plot heavy family, if you're not able to RP as often you'd like, you must at least agree to commit to family plots in the event you win this kitten.

A Naming Conventions - With her first litter, Smoke named her kits after physical strengths (Brawn/Strongclaw, Strike/Strikedrop and Sharp) and now, full of hope for the happiness her kits will experience with the involvement of their father, she's named them after positive mental attributes. How does your kitten feel about their name? Do they fall into the ironic role of their sisters, who are greedy (Generosity) rude (Kindness) and full of white lies (Honesty) or do they reflect on their own names and try to put themselves out into the world to spread the positivity they were named for?

B Clan Opinions - Split is notorious for his hatred of the all Clans believing them to be religious nutjobs who preach about safety and guidance, only to lead cats astray. Meanwhile, Smoke has a deep distrust specifically for the cats of MountainClan, who did the most damage to her family over the seasons. However, when it comes to StoneClan, TreeClan and LostClan, Smoke has a fresh perspective. Some of her older litter has moved to TreeClan and StoneClan and found their happiness there. She's expressded many times that if her kits wish to join any of the three Clans, they're welcome to, so long as they stay far away from MountainClan.

Does your kit wonder what it might be like living as a Clan cat versus a loner? How do they feel about their Clan bound older siblings, versus the free-living they'll grow up to with their parents? How do they picture their adult life to be like? Will they stick by their family or strike out on their own? Prompt Answer: While her name means 'fearlessness or bold', she would be the one that takes to her name in the truest sense, in opposition of her sisters. She's loud, nosey, and is absolutely not fearful in the slightest to the point of being rather quite the problem child. However, she's kind a heart, and most of her problems come from bad luck or misplaced curiosity versus any actual malicious intent. While a source of a few grey hairs, as she ages it'll be her strength rather than her weakness, and she's a great shoulder to lean on when you need one.

Kit's Personality: Duplicitous of a sort, he hides his uncertainness, fear, and undesirable thoughts behind his strongly silent, but bold aggression. He loves his family, mother especially, and would stand between them and anything or anyone that would hurt any of them with vicious ferocity. He however is quite curious and thinks a lot about things. Leading him to question things told to him and desire to find answers even he thinks he ought not.
Potential Future Plans?: Fights/Confrontation with those that would seek to harm the family in any way.
With fam being one to insert himself to quell or otherwise stop disagreements from escalating(mediator of sorts).
Likely meeting and interacting with family that is in clans both to get to know them and learn of clans for himself.
Asking or eventually seeking info about mountainclan and/or other interactions with the clan that he know his mother hates. Either or both for curiosity or confrontations depending on circumstance.
Him slipping up in a heat of the moment and saying something that may spark doubt about his loyalty. And any other subsequent fall outs.

Prompt Answer: Loyalty is proud of his name and strives in all his actions to live up to the name and it's meaning. Happy and proud to be one that his family can rely on. In spite of, or possibly because of both real and perceived pressure to live up to his name, he tries to quash his curiosity and other potentially disruptive thoughts. As to not accidentally say something wrong he chooses to speak as little as possible and just show his dedication and love from his actions. While this side of him is genuine, he feels duplicitous when his natural curiosity and need for answers makes him doubt or question his parents or other trusted family.

Kit's Personality: A competitive show off that loves to display her skills or lack thereof. Be it clobbering her opposition or making a complete fool of herself she loves challenges and is super adventurous. Bold and curious she loves to push boundaries, but is mindful as to not outright break them. She loves her family and making friends and has a way of blowing off negative vibes sent her way or that hang around. As if she strives to be a beacon of vibrant energy that can make anyone smile, or annoy them whatever suits them.
Potential Future Plans?: Competitions with siblins or anyone.
Approaches and/or challenges to other clan cats to test them, their strength, and if they are as bad as her father says they all are.
Despite mother's wishes may attempt to approach mountain clan cats to challenge them in their mother/family's honor/defense. More as a matter of pride than caring about the 'secret' about the clan. Though not likely to ever actually approach their lands intentionally, just if an opportunity presented itself.

Prompt Answer: She is curious about clans. Both on the interest of how life is different and why her parents and older siblings seem so divided about them as a whole. She would love to find and challenge all her older siblings and their clanmates to see what they are all about before she would even consider leaving the free life she has as a loner with her parents. She sees herself sticking to, protecting, and providing for her parents and the siblings that would also stay with them. She doesn't see herself joining a clan and giving away her freedom, but who knows what could happen in the future. Though she would defiantly not risk loosing her mother or other family by outright disobeying her mother's warnings and go to the mountain clan. She could care less about the secret or what they did, but they hurt her mother so are the enemy. That said though if she got the chance, she would likely jump or otherwise challenge a mountain clan cat if they had a chance encounter.

Kit's Personality: In contrast to her name, Bravery is a timid soul, the first to run at the first sign of perceived danger. She's kind, gentle, and very loving of her family, just don't ask her to face scary things for them. She's clingy to her siblings and maybe a little whiny. Puts her full faith and trust in her family.

Prompt Answer: Bravery has hung on every word their father has spoken about the evils of the Clan cats. She's, as expected, terrified of them. If one approached her, she'd run for the hills. Metaphorically of course. You could not bribe her enough to get her near that mountain or the nutjobs that lived there.

Prompt Answer: Dream was named for the hope of dreaming, dream for better, dream big, dare to dream for something different, dreams can be anything and so can this kit. Her name fits funnily enough as she is a little bit of a dreamer, at least to the outside, where really she tends to think things through before she does anything, which can cause a bit of a problem down the line when she begins hunting. She doesn't really dream of anything for herself, besides being with her family but she doesn't mind her name at all.

Prompt Answer:
Forgiving carries the grudges that her parents do, but to a larger extremity. Mountainclan is not only stupid, but should be fully exterminated. There is no point in having them around, and they are just wasting precious land and hunting grounds that others can have instead. Forgiving thinks her name, as with a number of her siblings, is just a dumb joke. What were her parents thinking, of naming kits with such positive words, for them to turn out the opposite?
