Hello and welcome! This is the place to go if you're looking to co-own a character or familiar with someone else. Please take a look at the rules and guidelines below.
Please be aware, this is a binding contract between the co-owners. Do not enter the contracts lightly. Make sure both parties agree 100% to the contract before posting.
While co-ownership can be broken, it isn't easy to do so. There are only three ways to break the co-ownership.
1. The other owner leaves the shop.
2. The secondary owner does not keep up their end of the contract rules and it can be proven. The character/familiar will revert to the owner who originally obtained the character unless otherwise specified.
3. Both co-owners agree to break the agreement.
Please be sure to include everything in the contract because it cannot be changed once made unless both owners agree. If this happens you must make a new agreement.
There cannot be more than two owners of a character or familiar.
A character's familiars remain the original owners property unless a new agreement is made for them.
You cannot promise a child from a breeding to the other co-owner unless you give up your child. The reason for this is because an extra child is equally owned by both parents until given away, so they get an equal say on where it goes. While the co-owner can be suggested for the extra, it is in no way guaranteed.
