Customs Rules & Guidelines​

• When a colorist is ready to open customs, they will create a thread for them! If the thread title says it is not open, setting up, WIP etc please do not post until the customs are officially opened.
• Do not nag, torment, wheedle, or whine at the colorist if they are 'too slow' working on your order - colorists have lives too, you know. We do have rules in place for colorists finishing work on time, so please allow staff to handle these situations.
• Colorists retain the right to reject a custom/bribe for whatever reason they see fit. Example: It would involve too much work.

Breed Traits vs Mutations

A breed trait is something that every Kitsusagi of that breed will have. For example, Angelic Kitsusagi will always have wings and a halo. They may be edited on occasion but if the Kitsu has these traits, it is an Angelic. Mutations are a type of edit that does not match any particular breed - such as cat-like tails rather than fox tails. Mutations will be a rare thing and colorists will list in their slots if they are doing mutations or not.

What are the different edit levels?

Unedit - Using templates to make a kitsu. Facial expressions can be unique.

Minor - Using a mixture of templates and simple unique edits to make a kitsu

Heavy - Using detailed, many, and/or large unique edits and some templates to make a kitsu

Extreme - Using almost no templates, including poses. Almost entirely Unique edits
and typically heavily detailed.

You can think of these in terms of percentages.
unedit: 0% Unique edits
Minor: 1-45% Unique edits
Heavy: 46-90% Unique edits
Extreme: 91-100% Unique edits

Breedings Rules & Guidelines​

• When a colorist is ready to open breedings, they will create a thread for them! If the thread title says it is not open, setting up, WIP etc please do not post until the breedings are officially opened.
• Do not nag, torment, wheedle, or whine at the colorist if they are 'too slow' working on your order - colorists have lives too, you know. We do have rules in place for colorists finishing work on time, so please allow staff to handle these situations.
• You do not get to choose the number of kits you get, level of edits, type of edits or colors, or anything else about the design. These elements are randomized and/or up to the colorist. Please refrain from asking the colorist to do something specific for your breeding - this includes 'hinting' strongly at such things.
• You are allowed to request only certain stages for your breeding, but this must be included in your breeding agreement as well, so discuss it with breeding partners first!!
• All prior children from the Breeding group must be grown and certed to enter for more breedings.

Special Breeding Rules Involving Ghosts​

• As mentioned in The Afterlife Guide, a Ghost may be used as an influence once only in a breeding, to have that Kitsu be reborn.
• If a Ghost is level 3, They may be used in an OOC breeding once.
• A Rebirth kit is counted as an "extra" and the owner who submitted the Ghost for Rebirth may also keep one rolled kit from the breeding, as normal, if they choose to do so.
• In a breeding with 2 parents, only one ghost can be reborn.
• in a breeding with 3 parents, 2 ghosts can be reborn.
• If you are using a Ghost in a breeding, no other items may be used in the same breeding that would grant extra kits above the number rolled.
