As these cute ponies welcome you into the theatre and you move to find a seat, you notice something is ... strange. There's no stage dressing to be found, despite the dramatic lighting, and suddenly, just before you sit ... the spotlight is on you! Everyone turns to stare at you expectantly as the light floods your face. A million thoughts race through your head as the least patient clearly start becoming agitated - as though waiting on you to perform! What's going on!?
If only you'd read the sign outside, you'd certainly know why - it's shared story hour!
Whew. That was creepy for a moment, wasn't it?
But you still entered, and now that you're here ... well why not? They even said you can convince one of these lovely ponies to come home with you, if you can entertain them enough!
This is a little bit of a different game, so please pay attention to all the rules below.
Rules:
1. Pick from *Comedy* or *Tragedy* - the prizes correlate to the type of story you'll want to create.
This directly affects your prize and the folks you're playing against, as you can only enter once/for one, but you do not have to keep these names if you win!
2. Write a one sentence story dealing with the emotion you picked.
Any longer and you'll be disqualified. Any shorter and ... well you won't have an entry, will you?
3. Send the sentence to me via dm here on the site.
Do not post them below!
4. Write one word below to indicate which pony you're trying for.
This is proof of your entry. Just say "comedy" or "tragedy".
5. When the game closes, I'll take a community vote on which story we like best out of both categories - and we'll have our winners!
The end date is August 9th, 2026!
