[Fixed] Incorrect Word Counting?

So I noticed when I was typing, that the word counter embedded in the posts here doesn't seem to count correctly?

It seems that when I start a new paragraph like this, it doesn't count the first word. I checked one of my posts against a few different word counters and they all seem to agree, but the one here comes up short.

It's not a big issue, but for groups that do things based off word count, it might cause some problems?
