So, the Realms have gods... how important are they?
The gods created the Realms in a time long forgotten, and some still watch over them to this day, while others have mostly faded from memory, though their influences remain. As far as how important they are to your Kitsu, that is up to each individual player and Kitsu.

What or who are all the gods?
The Realms has 3 types of gods, plus demi-gods that are half mortal. The three types of gods are Primorials, Major gods and Minor gods. See the posts below for more information on these types, and some basic information on the known gods. More gods may be remembered or discovered, and will be added below over time. For more detailed information, head over to the Pantheon subforum.

Types of Gods​

Primordials
There are four genderless Primordial beings that first created the Kitsusagi Realms. Their children are the Major gods, which came about through unknown means - though it is known by many of the Major gods who their Primordial parents are. These four beings are simply known by the titles of their overarching domains - Balance, Creation, Potential, Fate. All other gods answer to the Primordials. The exact range of their powers and abilities is unknown. They are immortal and cannot be killed.

Major gods
As mentioned above, these gods are the direct descendants of the Primordials. They watch over the larger aspects of the Kitsusagi Realms, such as Life, Death, Earth, etc. The Major gods are usually of equal rank with each other. These gods tend to have four to five abilities they can use at will that are miraculous and more powerful than the Spells mortal Kitsu can learn. They are immortal and cannot be killed.

Minor gods
These are the children of the Major gods, and are a bit less powerful, but no less important to the Realms. Their domains are more specific, and it is possible for them to overlap, and even have the same domain 'name' but look different and have different abilities. Minor gods usually answer to one or both of their Major god parents, as well as other Major gods in some situations. These gods tend to have two to three abilities they can use at will that are miraculous and more powerful than the Spells mortal Kitsu can learn. They are immortal and cannot be killed. Minor gods, however, can be forced into a resting state where they are inactive for a time.

Demi-gods
These are the half-mortal children of any god paired with any mortal. They are less powerful, but still watch over domains of their own. Their domains sometimes tend to overlap even more than those of the Minor gods. Demi-gods answer to all Minor and Major gods. These gods only have one ability they can use at will that is miraculous and more powerful than the Spells mortal Kitsu can learn. They cannot die of old age or disease, but can be killed if they take enough damage.
