Oliver walked out of the dorm, Mothra at his side, the delcatty uneasy as they looked at the sky behind the multiple screens that flickered in and out. "Well that doesn't seem concerning," he muttered, reaching down to pet the delcatty.

The abra and mr mime did seem to have it uncontrol so far, but he wasn't going to go too far from the dorm rooms. "At the very least we can close our rooms storm shutters." Just in case. Oliver had grown up in Alola and storm season on the islands. He clicked to the pokemon, calling her to his side.

"yeeeeaaahhhhhh!!!!" cried Aerika as she managed a kickflip while riding down the sidewalk on her skateboard."Oh shit, look out!"

With a quick tumble she avoids crashing into someone as they walked out of the building . The fall knocks her a little breathless as she lands awkwardly, actively trying to avoid falling on a weird lump in her hoodie. The skateboard careens down the path haphazardly. As she lays there at the feet of the guy she nearly crashed into, the lump moves and out pokes the head of a pink Bulbasaur. "Bulbasaur!" it bellows with what appears to be a grin. "Are you ok Silverleaf? and what about you bro?" she says to the guy as she struggles to stand up in lieu of the bulbasaurs awkward position.

"I think I should be asking you that." Oliver said, concern for the young woman who has just crashed from their skateboard. He held out a hand to her, to help her up if she needed it. "We are fine," He added, Mothra the delcatty giving a snickering Cattttyy at her.

"Though I would stop trying to kickflip while so close to the dorm buildings."

Aerika reaches out and takes his hand, allowing him to help her up. "Eh, falling is a natural part of learning... hey, that sounded pretty smart. Anywhattzles, I'm Aerika, nice to meet you!" Still holding his hand from getting up, she shook it in greeting and started looking around to figure out where her board went.

There seemed to be a lot of commotion going on to the left of her and Adette turned to look at what actually was transpiring. There were two trainers and their pokemon nearby, one of them had a skateboard which was pretty cool but the chastising was what really got her to look and be nosy. Azula, her small blue Torchic, tilted her head at them.

"I would agree with that one." Butting in and giving the skater girl a nod. She had heard the exchange of names but it would be impolite the address them before even giving them her own, "I'm Adette and this is Azula. How are you guys holding up?" She questioned, wondering how her fellow islanders were doing.

Zak was just returning from receiving his pokemon out of quarantine from the enrichment center, and the bat seemed quite happy to be out of its pokeball. Zue rested itself upon the top Zak's head, in its normal manner, keeping the boy's head quite warm. Ferocity his shiny deino walked behind him with a blue Torchic riding on its back. Zak preferred to keep his pokemon outside of their pokeballs when he could. But it wasn't always the case. As long as Rain Drop behaved the blue torchic could remain out, and so far it had been doing quite well.

Upon approaching the dorms there seemed to be quite a crowd gathering outside of it. Three trainers he had not seen before. One with a Delcatty, one with a Bulbasaur and one with a Torchic. The one with the torchic he recognized as they had done some weedle research previously together.

"Hello" He called out giving a small wave, a bit curious to see what the group was talking about or doing in front of the dorms. Perhaps it was about the weather. On his way back from the Enrichment center he had seen a few other groups of trainers out and about curious about the barriers and such. "I'm Zakiax." He introduced himself, to the other two he did not know..

"Good evening," He said calmly. "I'm Oliver, the Delcatty is Mothra." He looked down, checking on his companion. She chuffed, tail wagging in a slow sassy manner above her. "Glad to see you are in high spirits," he muttered, patting her head gently.

"I am holding up well, though I was planning to shut the storm shutters to my room. I'm from Alola originally and it just seems odd not to close the storm shutter's even with the barrier crew." He glanced up at the barrier high above, watching the abra and mr. mimes.

"Wazzup everyone? I'm Aerika, the pink one is Silverleaf. We were just out trying to get some fresh air; I hate being cramped up. It's bad enough I'm stuck in the town." She complained as she rounded up her stray skateboard. "I came here cause it was supposed to be full of adventure, and then what happens two days later? WHAM-O! Lockdown. Has anyone tried to see if there's a breach in the barrier? No one else I've talked to has." She spouted off words like she hadn't talked to people in several months. The Bulbasaur, clutched in her arms sat there, eyeballing two of the new-comer Pokemon, her antennae twitching every few seconds as it pondered.

Adette grinned at the others, giving a wave to Zakiax whom she recognized and was glad he had said his name again. Now she could put names to faces, though she might forget them as she was sometimes going to fast for her to remember everything she would definitely remember the pokemon. Human names tough, Pokemon's names easy. Azula squirmed a little until Adette set her down. The blue Torchic headed over to Oliver's Delcatty Mothra and just stood staring up at them.

"I'm sorry Aerika." Then turned to Oilver, "Storm shutters?" She didn't even know that was a thing she could do. Ecruteak was inthe forest of Johto. "That's a thing we can do? Maybe I should do that. We've had weird storms in Johto but none like this from what I remember." Her purple eyes turned to look up at the storm. "I haven't heard anything about a breach in the barrier and I feel that they would tell us that information as it has to do with our safety." Though part of her wondered if maybe they wouldn't tell them that sort of thing to keep the panic down.

Little Azula seemed to be trying to hide with Mothra, maybe it was just because the Delcatty was bigger than her. Adette called her back over and little Azula made herself settle on Adette's boots. She was still very agitated by the storm.

Mothra shifted, folding her leg to sniff at the little torchic taking shelter underneath her and gave the small bundle of feather a little push with her head. "Cattty." She said, relaxing as she nuzzled it gently.

"Mmhm, we had them in Alola and usually you pull them down before the storm hits. It keeps the glass from shattering and the rain out." It had a use. He tipped his head up, looking at the rolling storm behind the barriers. "If there ends up being a breach in the barrier, the storm will be on us before they can even warn us." Oliver replied, dry and calm. "I'm going to be putting up mine up at the very least. I can help you put up yours, if you want? They tend to be rather easy to pull into place." He offered.

"Eh, maybe later... Right now i just wanna be DOING something... anything... what is there to do around here anyways? I haven't been here long enough to figure out what to do. I did find some sick rails over there..." She pointed in a direction. Silverleaf took advantage of the opportunity and squirmed in a way that got free of Aerika's grip and plopped to the ground. She waddles over to where the other 'Mons are gathered and sniffs the air curiously.

Zak listened to the conversation at hand after everyone else had introduced themselves. He tried to make a mental note of each persons face "I can help with putting up the storm shutters. I'll just need to be shown how." He started. "I have nothing else to do today since we cannot go out exploring with the storm. Inspecting the barrier does sound like a good idea as well"

He also just wanted to do something. As an explorer he preferred to stay out in nature even if in a bad storm like this one being stuck in town was quite horrible. He gave a glance back to Ferocity and Rain Drop making sure the two pokemon were behaving before returning his attention to the group at hand.

"I have to introduce you to Max, you have the same go, go, go as he does." Oliver looked at Aerika half exhausted just from her pure lets gooo. "Really, did no one else figure out there would be nothing here to do." He rubbed his nose. It was barely settled, entertainment was low on things to do and it felt like he was surrounded by impulsive bored teenagers.

"The shutters are easy to pull in place, and then we will go and check out the barrier." Oliver sighed. "And I don't know, maybe movie night or something." He sighed. "it not like I was planning to pull them all down."

"I wish they had a mall! Like who builds a city and doesnt build a mall!? I would literally KIIIILLLLLLL for a Hot Torchic right now!!!" She stamps her feet on the ground in frustration. "Allright guys, let's go look at these barriers and see what's what yeah?"
