Moderator Locked Group Threads [Explained]

Maybe I'm just missing the option somewhere, but it would be nice to be able to lock some group threads so only moderators can post. This would help ensure that official threads (such as the field guide in Tiny Beans or the chronicles in Hopscotch) can't be posted in unless you're staff.

I tried just locking the thread like I would on gaia but that locked me out from posting too.

This behavior is intentional, as there are certain threads that you also want no one to post in, so it guarantees that you are 100% sure when you want to post in a locked thread. The expected behavior is that you unlock it briefly while you add a post, then relock it when you are done. If you start to have problems with people zooming in and posting during this time period, let us know and we'll look at it, but as of now this is as-intended because it ensures even your moderators are thinking about what they are doing. :3
