Dice Rolled:
🎲d10 3 3
TreeClan, Opponent: Raccoon
1. Battle
2. Oops! Encounter (while out on patrol, an abrupt cloudburst rolled in, causing the branches to become too slippery and difficult to traverse safely. Your patrol has to return to camp on the ground, which takes longer. The patrol will need to wait out the rain before they can try going out again.)
3. Hunting Training (apprentices roll 1d20 to determine if they are able to catch the prey or not, any numbers 13+ indicate a successful catch!)
4. Battle
5. Battle
6. Battle
7. Stealth Training (all apprentices roll 1d10, if they land on an odd number, they're able to sneak up on their mentors successfully. If they land on an even number, they make too much noise and alert anything nearby to the patrol's location.)
8. Battle
9. Loner
10. Scent Identification (all apprentices roll 1d10, if they land on an even number, they're able to correctly identify the scent as (insert prey type here, ex: a finch). If they roll an odd number, they cannot identify any specific prey nearby.)

It had been quite some time since Pinedapple and Elmripple had gotten out of the camp together, without the worry of little paws following behind Elmripple at all times. Quietpaw, a new loner turned Clanmate, had offered to kit-sit while the two parents stretched their legs and went out for some alone time and Pinedapple had graciously and readily accepted. Quietpaw and her mate, Flameheart, had brought two kits into TreeClan. Pinedapple hoped that Kindlekit and Firekit would grow to be friends with Tanglekit, Stumpkit and Needlekit. They'd certainly become apprentices together - so they'd share in the chores assigned to them, but Pinedapple smiled, remembering his own apprenticeship. It would build character for his little ones, and besides, every cat needed a friend to rely on. His just so happened to be his mate, too.

"It's nice to get some fresh air." He mewed as he walked carefully over branches, tree-walking as was taught to him by his mothers. "I feel like it has been moons since we were allowed to go out, just the two of us." He shook his head, was it really that long, or was parenting especially exhausting, stretching the days out longer when Pinedapple just wanted to wake and see his darling children pestering their mentors, rather than their poor papa.

"Say, Elmripple, shall we hunt together, while we're out here? We'll call it an unofficial border patrol, so that Sunflight nor Riversong won't give us grief if we eat something we catch." Pinedapple grinned broadly at Elmripple, inclinging his head to one side. "Elmripple? Are you listening?" @AlicornPlayhouse
