Hopscotch ☘ A Rabbit Shop

[PRP] A little of this a little of that

Bramble Bark didn't let not feeling like himself get in the way of anything. After all the world provided what each and every rabbit needed right. So this little sniffle could be cured if the correct plant was found to do so. What was that plat though, and herb a mushroom, yes he knew what they looked like but could a plant of food benefit him of others in ways that were not known to Bramble yet? He inspected some leaves staring at them like just looking at them might cure his sneezing. Alas this wasn't so which meant it was time for Bramble to keep looking. He knew roughly he was now in Meadowsweet perhaps here he might find a flower that could be the cure to what plagues other rabbits and himself.

Moving through the newly budding flowers Bramble seemed to stop to inspect each one. "Hmm no this one I don't think is ok to even eat....That I know of...." He nosed the flower a bit and sighed moving on to the next patch. "I don't even know what I'm look for..." He dropped his ears a bit. Bramble liked to think he knew a lot about many things so why was it now he felt so lost. He sneezed a bit and twitched his nose looking around. Well if he knew one thing being wary of running up to strange rabbits might be a caution to consider.

((Rolling to see if Marbled catches this sickness - Yep he's Infected))

Marbled Dirt crouched low to the ground in his burrow, fighting back the tickle that was stuck in his throat. The past few days he had this constant cough, it was annoying but something the bun was dealing with at the moment. Today he felt a bit better then he had in a while, but the feeling of the tickle at the back of his throat would not go away. Cautiously the bun moved from his temporary burrow, maybe he could find something to relieve it, water perhaps, or maybe even a tasty treat. After all his food stores have run out and he needed something to eat.

Brown eyes blinked as he emerged from the ground, meeting the glaring of the sun after a few days. Ears twitched as he moved forward a few paces before stopping and listening to the sounds around him. He continued to do this until he reached the soft grasses and
beginning buds of the Meadowsweet. Once on his journey his front paw found some really wet mud and sank instantly. It was in that instant that Marbled nearly fell over as he pulled his paw back from the wet cold ground.

He did not know of any other buns around, as Marbled was pretty much a bun of seclusion, and social awkwardness. He had currently had no friends to call his own, nor did he go out of his way to find some. His ears picked up on the sounds of another bun in the area he paused his advance. Keeping his nose to the soft grass he stayed still hoping the other bun would not see him and continue on his way.

This was how Marbled always conducted his business when others were around, he hid until they left. He felt more comfortable that way. But, alas that would not be the case this time, as the sensation of the tickle in the back of his throat grew. What started as a cough, ended up as a sneeze with the soft grass tickling his semi-running nose.

Bramble Bark was just about to head in another direction when he heard a sneeze. He spun around perking his ears to the sound. By the moon and stars if that had been a predator Bramble Bark would have been eaten already. He held in place frightened for a moment his eyes wide from being startled. Goodness he needed to pay attention to his surroundings it was a wonder he had made it alive alone for this long. After the fear passed a little his nose twitched and he picked up the scent of another rabbit. He moved his front paws back onto the ground and wiggled his body adjusting the vine that held a few leaves or herbs rather to his back. "Hello? You gave me quite the fright...." He ventured slowly to where the sound had come from. Bramble Bark sniffled slightly holding back a sneeze himself. "Are you not feeling well...just let me?" Bramble Bark asked before coming through a patch of grass that gave way to the sight of the rabbit who seemed to be frozen. "Well hello there!!!" Bramble Bark said with excitement his ears twitching. "Nothing to be afraid of I'm Bramble Bark not a predator." Bramble laughed a bit.

Marbled stayed frozen. Spotted, he had been spotted. Slowly his back paws inched back as he was tempted to run from this situation, but there were hesitation in his movements. This rabbit was not feeling well either? So it was not just him. It made him curious just how many others had not been feeling well this past cold season?

The multi-colored bun's head rose slowly out of the grass as his deep brown orbs peaked up at the one called Bramble Bark's face briefly, before they landed upon the other buns stomach. Blinking a few times the bun laid there stomach still pressed firmly to the ground, not sure what to say. It had been a long while since he last spoken to someone. Nose twitching as the silence after Bramble's laugh fell between the two, aside from the small sniffles which came from him.

Still not looking the other in the face his front paws shifted themselves so that he was sitting. He remembered now what he needed to do. Introductions, the other bun had introduced himself it would be rude not to return the favor. "Marbled Dirt, is Marbled Dirt" He spoke his introduction, yet his voice barely reached over a whisper and was quite hoarse from his recent coughing episode.
