[PRP] The Quest ((Beckett, Danger, Jiang))

"Yes the map shows where to need to go." Jiang repeated handing off information and some supplies to Beckett. "I want the item listed in the instructions bring it back to me and I will reward you. But you should also be able to pick up some treasures along the way. Make sure you follow the instructions about the item itself carefully its important. I would go myself , but my duty is here." He sighed his job was boring at times but at the same time he was no adventurer.

"Yeah yeah follow the instructions this isn't the first job I've done for you Jiang." Becket sighed packing away all the items in his travel bag. He really needed to think about hiring a pack mule but this time extra funds and treasure would go to someone he had called in to help.

"Are you sure you can handle this job its in a dangerous area." Had only used Beckett for smaller task in the past. "There is someone else after this item so its important you fulfill this task as quick as possible."

"Yes I have this , I have a friend I met recently through my journey through the open gate that will be joining me here and on this journey." Beckett explained.

Danger was eager to get back on the road. He had spent the time since the gate opening kind of just wandering around. So when Beckett reached out to him to go on a quest Danger had a hard time not being too eager. He saw a familar face from across the way and his face lit up "Ah my firend!" He called out loudly before making his way over. Danger was, as always, trying to make sure all eyes were on him.

He eyed the Nightmare next to Beckett up and down his smile not faltering. "Did you get everything we need?" He asked Beckett though his eyes were quite fixed on the Nightmare he didn't know. He assumed this was who they were doing the quest for. Perhaps he could charm him. The last person Danger tried to charm was married with a daughter that made killer kabobs. So Danger hesitated and decided it was best to be professional.

He turned toward Beckett assuming that he would break down what they were doing.

"Ah yes there you are! Jiang here was just being worried I couldn't handle this job alone." Beckett scoffed he could totally do it alone least that's what he was telling himself. "Yep Jiang here has supplied us with food and tools just as agreed upon for the quest." Beckett nodded.

Jiang seemed to eye Danger up and down as well. "Ah good I think the both of you together just might be able to handle this." Jiang drummed his claws on the ground. Normally he didn't like so much attention on himself but in this case he really wasn't doing anything of a nefarious nature just retrieving and item he wanted, but he couldn't leave work to do so. Oh and Jiang was certainly single he was to busy with work really to look for someone. And his working for the casino in the shadows always rather made kitsu jump specially since no one really knew what his job was exactly. "Well I will leave you to it. May your quest be a success. I must get back to work." He nodded before heading towards the casino.

Beckett rolled out a map with his paws along with some drawings of the item they were searching for, a dagger. A very old looking one with carved designs in the hilt. "Alright we are traveling to back into the realm of Kindieth as we are adventures getting through the gate once more should be no problem." Beckett nodded. "It says the treasure we seek." Beckett pawed at the drawing of the dagger. "Lays hidden in the honeycomb that is a cave system near the Rainbow Rock. Here we have a map that should lead us through to where we will find it. But the way won't be easy and there are creatures lurking in the caves that we will have to be ready for as well." Beckett explained and proceeded to go over the gear and rations they had for the trip. Giving Danger his own bag to carry as there was no way Beckett could carry all the gear on his own. "Tricky part might be leaving. Its not that we are stealing anything but I'm concerned they won't like us taking stuff and not at least showing it. And Jiang was very clear others are looking for this dagger and if someone else sees it we might not be able to leave with it so we will have to keep that in mind once we get it. So are you ready for this quest?" Beckett smiled he loved adventure specially when their was treasure involved.

Danger let his smile fall only for a second "Ahh, too bad you won't be coming with us then" he then turned his attention to Beckett nodding as he pointed out things on the map, he was not entirely familiar with the place they were going but that made him excited to explore a new area of the world.

"Sounds like its gonna be a sneaky retreat. I can see why he sent for you but are you sure you want to bring me?" He let out a loud chuckle unintentionally proving his own point. Danger was strong and he was charming but he was not what one would call super sneaky. This would be a challenge for him for sure.

"Jiang is well off enough not to have to do such things himself." Beckett laughed abit. "Yeah or a fake out retreat we show them one thing but hide our real mission." Beckett explained and then laughed. "Of course I want you to go. I've got the sneak part you have the fighting part. Like I said there are going to be monsters and though I hate to admit it I'm going to need help." That looked painful for Beckett to say and it rather looked like he had tasted something gross. "So back through that gate we go? Its a small journey from here I know a place near the gate we can make camp at then go through the gate fresh in the morning. Plus we can get to know each other a bit better, maybe spar a little so we are ready for bigger battles to come?" Beckett asked as he started heading for the gate.

Danger nodded and smiled wide "I do love monsters" he pat the Raiper on his side softly. He also nodded looking toward the direction they had to go. "I would LOVE to spar with you nothing forges stronger bonds than combat." He nodded matter of factly. "I'll follow you whenever your ready to head to the campsite."
