Emergency Mobilization!
Task: #M01 - The Traveling Tempest's Tumultuous Terror!
Progress: 0/1 assignments completed fully
Doveport is on lockdown, and no one is allowed to leave or enter the city. Why? A terrible storm has rolled in impossibly fast, and the whole place is surrounded by a bubble comprising of Barriers and Light Screens from over a hundred dedicated pokémon. Yet, despite the assurances coming from Fairlight Company that the whole event will be over quite quickly and there's nothing to be worried about, something seems ... off. The air itself is charged with electricity, and for a simple ocean squall the whole of the sky is certainly completely dark save for the crackling of intricate patterns of lightning rolling through them.
Though many stay inside during the first few hours of the event,
the restless and curious come out when it fails to pass quickly. Some go about their business, trying to keep themselves entertained or simply continuing their training as best they can
. Others spend a little spend a little
extra time observing nature's rage pouring around them...

Any Ocean Sci | 7 | Now and again, large streaks of lightning can be seen crackling around in the dark clouds above. Not single bolts but instead long trails of unique, powerful flashes. |

The abras in particular seem jumpy, with several of them teleporting a distance away after especially loud peals from beyond the bubble. |

Those allowed out of their pokéballs will, at evidently random intervals, charge together towards some point of heavy activity outside the bubble and ring-- scream at it in unison. It is extremely painful to hear up close. |

Any Geology Sci | 9 | It looks like the barriers aren't entirely perfect. Near the edges of the bubble, electric scorch marks run through the ground towards the town. While the grass directly on top of the strange marks smells and looks burnt, the foliage around them is notably thicker than further away. |

Any Geology Sci | 12 | You learn that the combination of Barrier and Light Screen really does make a great bubble - enough that every now and then, in a more moderate section of the storm, the barrier squad opens several small holes in it to allow for ventilation. It's during one of these openings that the smell of dampened burn wafts inward; while the team quickly reseals the holes, you realize that the darkness beyond that side of the bubble extends far lower than the clouds and might indeed be smoke. |
Distant Observations | INS OR CLEVER +
Alert | 15 | During a particularly vicious drop of no less than three tornadoes connecting directly with a barrier wall, you see it - or rather, them. Only for a moment, as seconds later the two collide in a brilliant flash and a monstrous roar of lightning, but you're positive: you've seen two forms with great, curved tails clashing in the squall outside Doveport. |
