[Cats of the Sun]

When the sun sets in the world of the living, the Cats of the Sun return to their spiritual resting place known as the Greater Sunning Stones, a bright wood filled with gentle sunlight that has the strangest ability. No matter where you wander in these woods, a cat will always find the best place for them. Be it seclusion, good hunting, or just a place to bask in the never-setting sunlight, their paws will always find it.

Their new home surrounds a great lake that seems to be filling with bright sunshine instead of water. The Sun Pool. When the sun is strong and uncovered in the living world, the ripples on the lake cease and its surface becomes so smooth that SunClan can peer through it. This is how SunClan watches over the Clans.

Beyond the Greater Sunning Stones is a place of in-between. Caught in perpetual twilight, out here strange things happen in the Wild Wood. It is neither warm nor cold here and strange, unmoving clouds hang suspended in the darkening sky. If one listens closely, sometimes you can hear the whispers of the living coming from the trees.

If a cat were to somehow find their way to the edge of the wood, what lies before them is something no clan cat has ever seen in their living lives; a deep wildwood of black oaks with a canopy so dense and so cold that a SunClan cat cannot set paw there without their Light fading. This is a terrible place and no cat must go there. This is the Dark Forest, home of the Eclipsed.
