Backstory: Turadh was born far away in an underwater city where semi-aquatic Mer were considered to be lower class citizens. They weren't allowed to rise very high in society and were always given unwanted jobs, and lived in basically poverty. Turadh was angry about this, along with many others. They slowly gathered followers and came up with a plot to get back at the rulers and higher class citizens of the city. Their plan was to lure predators to the city from the surrounding area to scare everyone, then swoop in and save the day, hoping to win respect and be seen as equals or better. At the start of the attack the semi-aquatics planned to hide in a cave system that they thought was secret from the rest of the population. However, the plan worked too well. The predators tore through the city, killing most of the other Kitsu living there. Some escaped who either did know about the secret caves or found them out of desperation. Consumed with guilt for what they (somewhat) accidentally set in motion, Turadh fled the area and simply kept going until they came to a place where no one had even heard of the city they were born in. They still live in fear that eventually someone will hear of the tragedy or even come looking for them from the city - so they will have to answer for their crimes.

Personality: Mostly a quiet Kitsu, Turadh seems skittish and almost haunted much of the time, jumping at shadows and constantly looking over their shoulder. So far they've made no close friends and tend to spend a lot of time by themselves. They enjoy exploring beaches, and can usually be found there - since there were no beaches close to their old home. Aside from being fascinated by plants and animals that exist on land, they also figure staying on land will make it less likely they'll be found by anyone important from their city.
