It was not long ago that distant faded memories of a group of rabbits surrounding her played in her dreams but soon she awoke her mind fuzzy, cold alone and deep within the abandoned burrow of an unknown rabbit. Where were those her faded memory reminded her of? The visions in her dream where nothing like what she saw around her past the dim light at the entrance of the burrow witch was coated with snow. However part of her mind remembered the sweet smell of fruit and flowers, where was it she belonged? As she came to, her hazy emerald eyes fluttered open blurriness fading from vision as she stretched out before rising to her feet, She shook her head lightly her long ears stirring up the loose dirt on the ground causing a dust cloud to forum around her. a sneeze escaped her, before she realized she was entangled in her ears.
She softly shook her head till her heavy ears untangled them selves from her legs and body before beginning her way to the snowy burrow entrance. she took the time to rise her paws up stepping down on the snow before her, a quite crunch of hardened snow crushed beneath her feet, she continued, her paws growing colder and colder, she worried that it may be to much for her to leave at this time, but she had to at least make way for fresh air, and an exit if needed. when she was done, she backed her self in to a corner, nesting down upon her freezing paws as she felt a gentle wind blow in to the chilly chamber. Shivering she waited till her paws where warm beneath her, she was the cutest little bunny loaf anyone could see even if there was no bunnies around.
She soon began to make her way out little by little, paving a way threw the snow with her nose and paws as tools to make a path way out in to the snowy fields of poppy hill. she was unfamiliar with this once blooming field, to her she only knew its cold barren state. but at least now she had a way to come out and look for the necessities, but it would be best not to travel to far from theses burrows at least until spring would come. what was it that awaited her out there? she had to be brave, she had to explore more, she gazed around now that escaping the burrow was no longer on her mind, but food, it was so cold, but she would leave to find food if she had too but for now she searched the burrow.
the barren burrow left her with no choose, she headed out in to the winter snow fields and began to dig around beneath the snow, she looked for grass, she looked for bushes and berries, but the winter had taken most of what was in her area, and it had long since fallen to the ground and decayed , or died out, she did manage to find some grass where very little snow touched, beneath some trees the canopy protected the grass from the bitter frost. she grazed for a while before finding another patch , she repeated this until she was full before returning to the burrow, she took with her some branches and pulled them with some snow back to the burrows entrance creating a safe way to hide her sent from predators. she repeated this once a day before sleeping threw out the remainder of winters time, she longed for something to brake the cycle of her life she had awoken in to.
a faded dream a voice calls to her "tangled clover, come home!".
