Earth Pony
A low magic miniature horse that are the most common species. They can come in any color.
Ingenuitve they can build to compensate for their lack of magic. They can live anywhere and have a varied culture depending on location.
Necessary traits: no wings or horn tail made of hair
Unicorn
ponies with a single horn on their forehead. The horn can be swirled,smooth, curved, long or short. unicorns never have wings. Unicorns magic varies greatly based on natural power and study. preferring solitude they can be found in deep woods or in city's vast quiet libraries.
Necessary traits: single horn on head, no wings, hair tail
Pegasus
winged ponies capable of living in the highest cliffs and mesas up where the clouds reach the earth. While having their own cities on cliffs and the rich being proud of them, poorer pegasi have taken to moving to pony cities and adapting to their culture having only the magic to fly their wings are relatively small and used more for steering and beauty, to fly they trot in the air.
Necessary traits: feather wings, no horns, hair tail, feathers may appear anywhere on the body.
Einhorn
A magical pony similar to a unicorn but of slimmer build ,has a whip like tail with hair at the end and cloven hooves with fetlocks. Enihorns are an enigmatic species preferring the solitude of marshes, deep forests, and secluded oasis
Necessary traits: Whip/lion like tail (think classical unicorn), cloven hooves, singular horn of any kind. No wings
Deer
Distrusting of ponies, Deer make their homes in herds in the forest sea. Males have antlers used for defense and decoration. Most Dear are led by a male who has a counsel of both gender advising him.
Necessary traits: dear tails, can have a hair mane or not, males have antlers.
Fay
magical beings that just happen to look like ponies. they can be any color, have any kind of horn anywhere, and can have any kind of wing. Most fay are about half the size to a fourth of the size of a regular pony Neither good nor evil but mischievous these creatures motives are their own. They love all forms of ponies and to travel, often aiding adventures or simply messing with them. wings or no all fay can fly and all fay can use magic.
Necessary traits: pony body type. Go nuts otherwise
Twin Mouth fay
Fay that have taken the spirit of an injured fay into their body. This second spirit takes the form of a sentient tail with a mouth. This tail can look like anything. They share the same other traits as fay

Merponys
On land they appear to be regular ponies with fish tails, in the water they have fish tails instead of back legs. They have no horns or wings but can have any kind of fish tail and decorative fins.they can be of any color and pattern. they are larger than the average pony. Many out of curiosity leave their underwater cities to travel the world.
Necessary traits: fish tail of any kind. Optional fish fins anywhere including instead of hair
