Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Intuneness , and Charisma are your 5 main stats; these all start at 1d4 and you may bring one stat up by one die type every 2 levels.
You also have Hit points, and skill charges.
For the for main stats they are dictated by die type going d4 threw d12 stats can go no higher than 1d12
Health points - is how much damage you can take every class has different starting hp and different growth rates
Strength - is how strong you are physically this dictates strength checks (climbing, jumping trying to break something) and melee damage.
Dexterity - how graceful your movement is. Used for dexterity checks (dogging, catching, dancing) And for ranged attacks
Intelligence - how smart you are used for intelligence checks (kowlige, identification.)
Intuneness - your connection to your magic used for magical attacks. And magical checks for species that have a lot of natural magic like unicorns, einhorns, and fay
Charisma - how likable your characters is used for charisma checks (Lieing, preseason)
Finally skill charges. Each skill charge grants you one use of any skill you know. Each class starts with a different amount of charges. At every 5th level up you get one more charge.
