Welcome back to the world of alchemy!

So you have managed to make a few potions and you think you are a hot shot in the world of mixers and splashes right? Well oh dear reader hang onto your paws and pestles because you have only just begun your deep dive into the world of alchemy. Next we have more ingredients and potions then you can shake your tail at. Some of these ingredients though... well they may be harder to collect and the risk of doing so is solely on yourself distributors of The Great Big Book of Potions: Advanced are not libel for results obtained from improper use of ingredients that vary from intended use; nor responsible for any injury from obtaining ingredients or use of potions. So make sure you take care and stay safe when using.

As always please make sure you brew and creature potions in a well ventilated area with a safe and properly set up equipment. Those back alley alchemists tend to blow up and brew bad product because of this and you are better than that.

If you find it difficult to gather an ingredient for your potions you can always requisition a quest at the guild for adventurous folk and they will often get your ingredient for you with only a few silver loss on your end.

Netell's Savior
Stop Bleeding Does not heal after all you will probably be fine

Ingredients

• 12 Calfie bush
• 4 Galean leaves
• 1 vegetable oil or animal fat (please noted it is ill advised to use animal fat as the smell may attract predators)
• 3 edrich moss

Instructions
Dried and ground to powder galean leaves with edrich moss mixed together in a large bowel. Boil Calfie leaves and boil and leave on warm simmer once at boiling point. Boil vegetable oil or animal fat. Slowly mix in powered mixture to boiling oil or fat and quickly mix in with Calfie mixture and allow to cool. The impurities in the oil and other ingredients will allow Calfie to remain in a paste like state for a longer period of time letting it be applied to wounds to stop bleeding and allow bandaging. As no Galean juice is present it will not restore health but will allow for mobility to a wounded Kitsu to leave an area once a wound in bandaged. Store in any temperature or condition. Over time the mixture will separate and must be reboiled and mixed as long as Calfie has not hardened. Once hardened remixing is no longer possible

Application
Apply into bleeding wound once in wound it will semi-harden allowing some motion. Wrap wound site to keep Netell's savoir in wound and get to a safer location where healing can be preformed. Excessive movement will undo effect of Netell's savior as bleeding may occur semi hard plug if too much movement is done. And we can't have plugs falling out can we?

Effect
Stopping bleeding out, Does not restore health.

Talbit's Lament
A not so mild poison. It's advisable not to tell others you can make this.. Really I was spoken to by several guard's for a good two days once.

Ingredients

• 1 small vial
• 1 purified water
• 4 tabit berries
• 1 edrich moss

Instructions
Grind up tabit berries into a fine past and mix with edrich moss. Mix with water until one constancy. Seal well and store in cool places. Glass containers preferred as other substances tend to absorb contents leeching small amounts of poison into whatever is next stored in container.

Application
If thin enough add to a drink or if thicker put in a cream. apply to surface you wish to coat.

Effect
If a turn is taken to coat the weapon with this poison next strike will leave a lingering poison that does one damage for 3 turns and have -1 to all mental rolls during battle. If placed in a drink, food or cream item it is a physical roll against enemies mental roll to NOT get poisoned. Poisoned status automatically take last place in battle format (pensioned kitsu goes last) and -1 health for 3 turns and have -1 to all mental rolls during battle.

Distillation of Dreams
For those suffering from insomnia no one ever has that right?

Ingredients

• 3 sap of Galean leaves
• 2 Spring Tea Tree blossoms
• 1 Forget me not flowers
• 1 vial
• 1 part water

Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a vial used a distillation process to refine mixture. Twice distilled will allow for peaceful sleep with light pleasant dreams, four times distilled will make ktsu slummer without dreams and deeply to the point it is hard to rouse them. place distillation into vial and mix with warm drink when to be used. is not as effective in cold drinks

Application
Warm drink to desired temperature and drink.

Effect
When taken kitsu suffers from -1 success to all alertness checks such as trying to hear a sound or noise for 1 day. Stronger potion will have -2 success to all alertness checks such as trying to hear a sound or noise for 1 day.

Solene’s Sight
Restore sight to the temperately blind (Those with disadvantage can not be cured) Did not name this after an ex who left me for some fighter I swear.

Ingredients

• 3 Velka flower
• 1 Shiverbite venom spit sac
• 4 parts oil sulfur infused 2 Iceen leaves tinctured for 3 weeks (1 part leaves to 5 parts vinegar)
• 1 large vial

Instructions
Mix with sulfur instilled oil. Reduce over medium heat while mixing in powdered Velka flower until mixture is 1/3 size. Carefully puncture spit sac and mix with concoction skim residue will form at top of potion. Scrape out and discard. Remaining mixture is ready for use. Use within two weeks or venom from spit sac will degrade quality and make less effective

Application
Apply to inner lower eye lid and allow affected kitsu to keep eyes closed for a minute then blink at will. You might notice the solution covering the eye getting spread around it's actually kind of fun to watch

Effect
Removes status effected blindness does nothing against disadvantage

Whisper Seeker
Remove Deafness (Those with disadvantage can not be cured)

Ingredients

• 1 part olive oil
• 1 whisper weed
• 1 part warm water
• 1 glass dropper water as needed.

Instructions
Distill Whisper weed with olive oil a dozen times. Once done mix with one part water. No this isn't a joke it really is this easy it's just the distillation process takes so long everyone would rather pay to have it done then do it themselves. Their laziness is YOUR silver. Always remember that.

Application
Use glass dropper to add to ear. Allow to sit for several minutes until soft ringing can be heard. Tilt and use water to cleanse ear. Repeat process until hearing if fully restored.

Effect
Removes status effected deafness does nothing against disadvantage

Weakling’s Courage
To remove fear with slightly less issue then just getting roaring drunk

Ingredients

• 1 part alcohol
• 1 large flask
• 1 merrian flower

Instructions
Grind and powder dried merrian flower until able to take a small amount and create sparks when flicked at fire. Yes it's fun now stop making sparks and get back to the potion. Mix with alcohol and let set for one month a thin layer will form over the top that must be scooped off weekly. Take mixture and place in flask. Cork with wax as mixture will react with wood products and will cause hallucinations. Found this out the hard way but it was pretty fun still.

Application
Drink quickly and try not to gag~

Effect
Removes status effected fear

Scarlet Allure
Charm kistu After all you have no charm of your own right?

Ingredients

• 1/4 merrian flower
• 1 part water
• 1 glass vial
• 1 part salt
• 1/8 bitter root shavings

Instructions
Mix Bitter root shaving with merrian flower and grind to paste. Fold in salt and slowly add water until mixture consistent paste. Paste will be a deep crimson color. Slowly add more water to desired constancy constancy will loose color as thinned. Store thickened paste in containers and thinner constancy in vials.

Application
if a thick cream apply gently and discreetly to areas that have high blood flow like next and joints. If a liquid drink quickly or mix in a drink and take.

Effect
Adds charmed effect to Kitsu. targeted kitsu looses 1 dice to all social rolls until end of day.

Sleep of Death
Feign Death Dramatic acting just got a lot more interesting

Ingredients

• 1 part water
• 1 vial
• 12 sap of Galean leaves
• 1 Stem of Soul rot

Instructions
Grind Galean leaves and mix with ground soul rot stem add water. Heat mixture over low flame to soft boil then remove from heat and allow to cool Strain out remnants of stem and leaf from mixture. Place fluid into vial.

Application
Drinking

Effect
Once drunk it will cause a dizzy feeling and collapse of the drinker who will remain in a death like state until a cleanse toxin or spell is administered. If left in prolonged feign death target may actually die. So really don't play around with this kids unless you have better supervision then this book.

Fever-height Focus
for increased focus and clarity for better or worse.

Ingredients

• 3 Jeltric Bark Strips
• 2 part vinigar
• 1 vial or flask
• 1 Dimvic vine
• 1 part water

Instructions
Dry and fine powder Jeltric bark and Dimvic vine mix together and mix in vinegar until all flecks of ingredients have dissolved. Boil down to half volume. Add water to dull bitter sharp taste and bottle into vial

Application
Warm drink to desired temperature and drink. may be taken warm or cold

Effect
+1 success to all focus and clarity checks

Phrost Philter
Frost Resistance Great for travel, not for smell

Ingredients

• 5 parts frozen phrost lichen
• 1 part sulfur
• 1 part animal fat or mineral oil
• 1 large container

Instructions
Mix powdered frozen phrost lichen with sulfur. Stir into animal fat or mineral oil. Store in large container. Aply to fur in liberal doses and comb out. Residue in fur help insulate heat and warm making subject more resistant to frost.

Application
Comb into fur. make sure not to miss any areas or you might have a cold reminder

Effect
Frost resistance +1 until end of day unless other weather conditions or land conditions such as water or rain occur

Swift Pain
A potion oil that can be applied to weapons to cause additional damage

Ingredients

• 2 Axe Beak powdered beak
• 3 archer bush leaves
• 1 bane briar oil
• 2 Calfie bush sap
• 1 part oil

Instructions
Dry and Powder Axe Beak’s beak. Crush archer brush leaves and mix with a 2 to 1 ratio of calfie bush sap and bane biar oil. Mix in Axe Beak powder with crush mix and then mix in oil until desired thickness.

Application
Take a cloth and dip into the solution and apply to the edge of the weapon it is to be applied to. Careful not to get any on yourself as it will cause irritation/rash/ and discomfort Personal experience has let me know that this will find every last paper cut you have

Effect
1 round to apply but does 1 damage for next 2 rounds as oil lingers on skin and causes pain with any existing wounds the enemy has.

Gardener's Green Thumb
To better grow plants and help shape them

Ingredients

• 9 Bug bear droppings
• 3 powdered Kurzi claw
• 3 powdered Sweet Song feathers
• 5 Edrich moss
• 6 crushed egg shells
• 3 part water
• Clay optional

Instructions
Dry and powder all ingredients into a fine dust. Mix with crushed egg shells of any kind and bring where you would like to influence the plants at. Stir in water until a thick sludge like constancy.

Application
Dig hole at the base of the plant and deposit directly in soil at base of roots for meditate effect. encase in Clay ball and bury at roots for delayed release. Delayed release produces better results overall but many don't have time for that.

Effect
Plants grow far better and stronger with this mix and many plants start to grow in the direction of this mix so for any fast growing or starved plant they will start to lean toward the planted mix in a noticeable manner

Moon's Kiss
Creating a reflective surface on an object

Ingredients

• 2 Salt rocks
• 8 Terick leaves
• 1 part water
• 2 parts oil
• 3 parts fine sand
• 1 large container
• fine cloth mesh strainer
• Fine brush for application

Instructions
Rinse Terick leaves with water. Dry and grind down with salt rocks so leaves and salt rock remnaints are mixed. Shift and dry the mixture over time. Strain out impurities in water. Rock sat will desolve at this time as will much of plant fibers leaving mostly metal and some heaver plant fiber mix in cloth. Soak and swirl in oil to remove from cloth. Slowly tip and empty oil from container leaving fine metal and some plant fiber in bottom and mix with fine sand and store in container avoiding moisture.

Application
use brush for application onto surfaces.

Effect
Will leave a grainy but reflective surface for marking paths and caves. Can be used in art as well.

Cat's Yowel
To streghten one's voice

Ingredients

• 2 Edrich Moss
• 2 Forget me not flowers
• 6 Galean leaf juice
• 2 Milk Touch
• 4 part water one vial

Instructions
Gather all plants. Gelean juice to be mixed with powdered forget me not flowers and powdered edrich moss. Slowly add in powdered milk touch. The mixture will be lumpy at this point. Add water to a drinkable thickness.

Application
Drink quickly

Effect
+1 to social rolls for the day. +2 success to any rol lto be heard over most any other noise
