The Realm of Athas
Athas is often thought of as the 'main' realm amongst all the realms as it is one of the largest. It is home to the angelic, nightmare, normal and tundra races. It is were much of the wars of the past were fought and when the breaking of the realms happened it was torn apart from the other realms for the longest of times and is now slowly reconnect to the other realms. The realm is home to a vast variety of landscapes and scenery as well as old ruins and shrines that have been lost to time and long forgotten to time.
The races have been known to still have smaller conflicts over time and do not always get along but any battles fought to recent memory still pale in comparison to the history of the realm before the breaking. There are several small towns and a large number of villages that are scattered around the realm. With the recent returning of the gods a number of these sites have been rediscovered and started to be in use once more.

The marsh is vibrant and full of life that seems to drain out itself as one heads toward the Ghost Sands. The land seems to seep with a mucky foul water that if used for farming is very fertile but it has a unique smell. It also is hard to transport as it is as thin as water and easily leaks while as a mass it sucks heavy things under it surface quickly. There are many who have buried jars in the land only to dig them up and find them perfectly preserved by the marsh.
