Greetings fellow alchemists.

We all know those gentle sweet books that teach how to make bandage in a bottle and help married kitsu deal with alcohol abuse are cute but lets face it that's not what you wanted from alchemy is it? It's fine I was the same in my youth. To that end I am leaving a few special recipes around for you to play with.

Don't blame me if they don't work how you want after all this is just a book and you'll never find me anyway. I'd be more impressed if you could. Use at your own risk and may it help you find enough power to take what you want from this godless forgotten and abandoned realm and deal with all those who stand in your way..

Angel Downfall
A highly addictive substance.

Ingredients

• 1 medium vial
• 3 Urv guts
• 1 trace slug slime
• 2 bitter root
• 1 alcohol or other liquid

Instructions
Mix steamed bitter root shavings with slug slime and urv guts to consistent mixture. Bag items and proceed one of two ways

1.) allow bagged items to dry. Dried mixture can be ground into powered and ingested which will cause hallucination and craving for more. The fresher the mix the more potent the effects however for travel and transport it is recommended drying the mixture as much as possible due to risk of mold​

2.) take bagged items and steep in alcohol or other liquid. Effects will include hallucinations the longer steeped the stronger the effects will be. For medical purposes it is recommended a short steeping time under 3 minutes. Please note not all kitsu will have a positive reaction to mixture.​

Application
Dried mix can be sprinkled, baked, in any product to produce desired effect or can be ingested dried and powdered. Liquid can be mixed in any drink and ingested.

Effect
Produces hallucinations and a weightless feeling often getting rid of anxiety or fear. If kitsu has a negative reaction will have terrifying visions and ringing in ears that will not disperse until effects of drug have left the system. This drug when finished will leave the ktisu with a shivering shaking feeling that can be alleviated with another dose as the kitsu will begin to crave this potion after several ingestion leading to addiction. Addiction and effects can be countered with a detox potion. So make sure your target can't get any of them.

Forgotten memories
Forget potion Because some things need to be forgotten

Ingredients

• 1 part alcohol
• 1 glass vial
• 2 forget me not flowers
• 1 merrian flower

Instructions
Dry and powder merrian and forget me not flowers mix with alcohol and steep for three days out of any sunlight. Potion may also include honey to sweeten as it is naturally very bitter and will leave drinker with dizzy and disorientation for a half a day.

Application
Drink like it will make all your worries go away.

Effect
Leaves the drinker disorientated for half a day and often unable to recall events of that time.

Blood Rot
Let them weaken and rot as thought their blood betrays them

Ingredients

• 1 medium vial
• 3 part nightmare blood
• 1 part trick blood
• 2 Necrosis vine flowers
• 1 alcohol or other liquid

Instructions
Crush the necrosis vine flower while still blooming and fresh. Mix with blood of nightmare and trick followed by the last fluid to think the substance. Store only in glass vials. Can not be exposed to light under any circumstances lest it loos it's properties.

Application
this substance must be injected or otherwise introduced to a targets blood. A dagger with a channel with the substance in it will suffice but the poison can have no direct sunlight strike it or it will loose it's properties and have no effect.

Effect
A target given this poison will have a lingering sensation of weakness and wrongness even if they themselves are a trick or nightmare. it gives a permanent -2 HP unless cured by blooming blood or deity intervention. Target HP can not be dropped below 1Hp no matter how many times poisoned

Anguish
The cure to an annoying bard and solution to many a political rival

Ingredients

• 1 medium vial
• 8 Berries of Gala's Grace
• 3 parts trace slug slime
• 3 Urv guts
• 1 part alcohol
• 1:8 part alcohol when finished

Instructions
Soak the berries of Gala's Grace in Trace slug slime for one week. Strain and remove the berries and smash and grind up the berries mix with Urv guts and alcohol. allow to set for another week and then mix into other alcohol with a 1 to 8 ratio for best results.

Application
This potion must be drunk and the effect will not be apparent until a day has passed. note the drink tastes very good the target and it is easy to get them to drink a large amount once they start.

Effect
A target given this poison will find their vocal cords tightening up and find it harder to speak. They find a muscle weakness and are more likely to come off as 'twitchy' to others.
Permanent -3 to Social stat unless cured by Chior song ( can't go below one minimum 1 Social dice)

Shivering Soul
Shake the soul of your enemy so they are not themselves in their mind ever again.

Ingredients

• 4 Galthrie feather
• 1 Galthrie talon
• 3 Whisper weed leaves
• 1 Silt from a swamp bottom
• 1 medium container

Instructions
Grind down Galthrie talon to a fine dust along with dried whisper weed leaves. Steam Galthrie feathers to soften them and burn them once softened and dried again. they will loose their sheen after being steamed and will be softer. Mix burned feather ash with dried and ground talon mixture. slowly add silt to mixture until a puddling like consistency.

Application
Mix with food to hide the bitter taste and serve it can be diluted to a thickened sauce if needed though effects may take longer to show.

Effect
Permanent -3 to Mental stat unless cured by God's embrace ( can't go below one minimum 1 Mental dice) The affected kitsu become muddled and confused often repeating themselves and small personality changes may be noted

Render
Keep your enemy weak and their body enslaved to frailty

Ingredients

• 1 medium vial
• 3 Waifcel sinew
• 1 pot of water
• 1 dose Talbit's Lament (it's another poison)
• 1 Soul Rot branch
• 1 Spiral pod

Instructions
Boil and reduce the waifcel sinew in water. mix in Talbit's Lament. Take dried soul rot branch and scrape the bark from it add to your sinew stew mix slowly. The mixture will turn a maroon color. Take a needle and slowly shift out the spores from the spiral pod without popping the pod. the skin is not need for this mixture so you can set the skin aside for eating later. Slowly strain the fluid into a container letting no particulates end up in the final solution.

Application
Apply to any surface you wish to coat or add to a liquid to drink

Effect
Permanent -3 to Physical stat unless cured by Soothing rub. ( can't go below one minimum 1 Physical dice)

Blooming Blood
Reversal of Blood Rot poison and giving back life to the weakened

Ingredients

• 2 small vials
• 3 flowers of Gala's Grace
• 1 Albell flower
• 1 alcohol or other liquid can not be water
• 1 part water

Instructions
Dry and crush the Albell flower and Gala's grace. Mix with alchol and seep for a period of a month. Strain the mixture as a lattice like structure will from on the inside. Place the liquid into a vial and regrind the lattice down and mix with water. Keep the two mixture's sperate until ready to administer to the affected kitsu.

Application
Drink the water vial and have the kitsu wait for 1 hour then drink the other mixture. The kitsu will be feverish and have mild hallucinations for one hour after but be cured of their affliction.

Effect
targeted kitsu is cleared of Blood Rot

Choir Song
Give back the voice and speech for those with enough money to pay

Ingredients

• 1 medium vial
• 1 purified water
• 2 small baskets of Tabit berries
• 3 honey from Tartian Wasp

Instructions
Obtain purified water. the easiest way to do this would be to talk to a Kirin. Crush and stain the berries the juice from the pulp. Boil down the skins and reduce until thickened. Mix with honey while still hot, mix in water and juice from the berries.

Application
take the fluid and boil it. Have the affected kitsu breath in the concoction in an enclosed space for 3 to 4 hours.

targeted kitsu is cleared of Anguish

God's Embrace
Because mercy can be a god's domain at times

Ingredients

• 1 medium vial
• 2 Fallow Flier scales
• 2 Trenton apple
• 1 vinegar
• 1 Quillic quill

Instructions
Take fallow flier scales and mix with crushed up trenton apple after seeds are removed. Allow to sit for three days while Trenton seeds soak in a vinegar solution. Dry quillic quill and mix into seed and vinegar soliton, boil and distill. Take distillation and repeat three times. once thrice distilled mix with scale solution.

Application
mix into a strongly flavored drink. Will take two or three drinks for effect to come into play.

Soothing Rub
The scent isn't so bad on this one

Ingredients

• 1 Highland bush branch- keep it intact you will need the smoke from this
• 1 misty wisp remnants in glass jar
• 1 Gala's Beauty

Instructions
prepare a small fire where the only thing you will be burning is the highland bush branches. Prepare two glass jars, one with the misty wisp remnants and the other empty. Gently dump the remants into the smoke. Do not let it fall all the way to the burning ashes and other parts of the fire. it must pass through the smoke only. As it passes it will turn a light purple color and become thicker. it will feel like a cool cloud as it passes through. Catch the changed remnants into the clean glass jar. you may need to pass it through one to two times until it appears like a heavy fog in the jar and it swirls slowly and looks like tumbling clouds when the glass is swirled. Mix into a fresh batch of Gala's Beauty.

Application
Oil will be very thick and easy to apply to fur allow to set for 20 minutes paying special attention to rub firmly into the muscles then wash off until sand can no longer be felt. Oils will absorb into the fur and sand grains will wash off with extra oil.
