Warren Applications Are: Open

So you want a warren all of your own? Here's the place to learn how to make it happen! Running and being in an active warren can bring many rewards for those who want to put the effort in!

Purpose

Warrens are how different, unique cultural elements are introduced to Hopscotch! Warrens are meant to encourage rp and character development and provide different options for rabbit life. All warrens must be unqiue and based on their own concepts, with the exception of intentional splinter or sibling warrens. Splinter or sibling warrens can only be undertaken with permission of the original warren's owner.

Warrens are a great way to expand on the world of Hopscotch! While they do require lots of effort to keep active, they also offer rewards for both players and owners. See the rewards section below!


Rules
- All warrens must have at least 5 founding members.
- All warrens must have an OOC owner.
- In order to remain active warrens must have at least 1 rp per season.
- Warrens are activity checked four times a year - March, June, September and December. If they dip below the activity requirement they receive a warning. At the next check if their activity has not increased they will be disbanded.
- The purpose of warrens is to encourage rp and character development.
- All warrens must have a unique name.
- All warrens must have a marked territory.
- All warrens must have planned elements that make them unique.
- All warrens must have clear joining rules.
- Warren owners must maintain a listing of current members.
- Warren owners must maintain a thread with details about their warren.
- Applications for new warrens should only be sent when applications are marked as open.
- You're encouraged to develop the idea for your warren and recruit interested players when applications are closed.

Form

When applications are open this form should be sent to Ellanoire on Discord. When applications close all applicants will be reviewed and the staff will decide which warrens will be created. You are welcome to link to a plotting thread in your application if you have one, but please also provide a quick summary of each point in the application itself.

Rewards

Running an active and engaging warren can be a lot of work! To acknowledge all the effort it takes we offer various rewards both for the owner of the warren and to warren members. Every 10 completed warren rps of 500 words or more can be redeemed by the warren owner for a warren wide reward. For each in Hopscotch year a warren remains active the owner will also receive a reward. Warren owners can dm Ellanoire on Discord to redeem their rewards.
