Congrats, Absol, you've won Kit 2! There's no naming theme for this litter and they'll be expected to stay in MountainClan until they're apprentices (ideally their parents would love to see them be permanent members of MountainClan, but we're not going to constrict you on any plots if you want them to go elsewhere.)
I'll be reaching out to you shortly about the kits name and gender!

Attention Everyone - We've got a Few Major Shop Updates!
Please make sure to read over everything carefully! <3
Certing forms have been updated. The portion where you state where the name came from now explicitly includes that you have to list if they had kittypet background or not. Loners and clan cats only know of natural things, so things like Onyx or Jacob, or even Queen Latifah, would all be kittypet names. We don't want to force anyone to make their cat a kittypet to have names that are outside the natural world of cats, so they aren't forced to be kittypets. However, they should have had some form of kittypet background to get names like that. You can even state if they were born on the streets and named by some random Twolegs they accepted food from, but didn't live with. That would also be acceptable. But these are things that are the origins of names, and thus should be stated in the certing form when certing cats.
Breedings have been allowing throwbacks for a while, but breeding forms have been updated to specify throwbacks. Throwbacks are limited to parents or grandparents of the involved cats only. You cannot link siblings, aunts/uncles, or cousins. Direct parents or grandparents only. It has also been limited as a base line across the shop to 3 cats from each side. This means 3 cats from the mother's side (parents, grandparents, or even great grandparents), and 3 cats from the father's side (parents, grandparents of even great grandparents). Users must also submit the links in the forms of the specific cats they would like to be used for throwbacks for each side. Staff will not go digging for the related cats.
And as a general reminder, just because you ask for throwbacks does not guarantee that any or all will be used. The point is to allow the colorists to use colors or edits outside of the parents, but only if they choose to throw those little surprises in. Not everything from the throwbacks is guaranteed to be used. If anything here is not clear, feel free to ask for futher clarification here or on our Discord.

Battle Meta Rules Update: The restriction that you can only add one cat per clan has been lifted! If you have a cat signed up for the TreeClan Patrol, you may also submit a cat (who joined StoneClan as a kittypet or loner) into the StoneClan patrol too!
