[Kitsusagi Staff]

IC Information​

Kitsusagi have their own language that can be seen on many signs, in books, and elsewhere throughout the Realms. They also hold great stock in knowledge and collect tomes and books in libraries. There is almost always a library in each Kitsusagi settlement, though some may be smaller than others. Some books are a standard in all libraries in the Realms, while others are specific to a certain Realm, or location(s) within a Realm.

Any Kitsusagi is able to submit a book for publishing, printing, and distribution to the libraries of their choice. It takes more time and is more expensive to circulate a book to all libraries, so usually Kitsu will simply choose their local library or those nearby to carry their book.

OOC Information​

Anyone is welcome and encouraged to submit "books" or works to add to the Library! These may be fictional stories, informational tomes, books of artwork, or anything you can think of.

To add a work to the library, please make sure it is long enough to be considered a "book". For example, several pieces of artwork or sketches rather than just one. Or a longer story, or even a collection of stories vs one short paragraph. It is fine to label something as a WIP if you plan to add to it over time, but please make sure you do so, and don't have it sitting there at one short post for too long.

Though we will usually not require any sort of submission process for adding to the library, we do ask that you also follow shop canon in your works! If it is pointed out or noticed that a work doesn't seem long enough to be a "book" or is not following shop canon, that thread will be archived and you will be asked to re-submit whatever the work was. Works that you wish to be available in all libraries will need to go through approval, so please contact Seimei about these works.

Also, please use tags on your threads to show which libraries your book appears in. For example, the "Guide to Beasts" is tagged [All], as it can be found in all libraries. A book available in Guardian Grove and Centre City should have both those locations in the tag. If the book is available in several locations that would make a tag too long, you are free to abbreviate (ex: GG, CC) and list out the full names of the locations in the first post.

There are always new things being discovered! If your Kitsusagi discovers a new beast, magical plant, or other thing that could be part of one of the major guidebooks and you'd like to see if it can be added in, please contact Seimei about it. Not everything will be added, as these guidebooks are meant to show the most well-known facts.

Please note, any works submitted to the library by being posted here will be partially owned by the shop from that point on. This means a fictional tale can be referenced in RP by other Kitsusagi, information in 'guides' can be used in RP etc, and artwork submitted may be used in other parts of the shop as promotional material or examples. The Kitsusagi Realms shop will not, however, take and "re-sell" any part of your works for profit, either imaginary or real.​
