Mishipeshu’s wings flex as they stretched just a bit as they yawn their tongue lulls out a bit thinking they might get a drink soon. When something landed on the back of their head. They were surprised and gently shook their head and as sad chime made a noise as a Star Brite fell out and drifted down slowly. They blinked and reached and caught it before it touched the ground. It was oddly cute. They didn’t know much about them so went to find somepony who knew more about them. Out of all the companions at this event it seemed a bit odd. Pleasant but odd

Misty Woods was looking at a whole little pile of babels who were being picked up and taken away by other companions all over the place. She smiled and raised a hoof and looked at a green babal. She thought she might like to take one of those home. As an herbalist she was fairly good with plants and thought this kind of companion might be a good fit for her. She smiled at it and made some room in her bag to be able to properly take it around the event and then home with her.

Cat was busy coughing and trying not to die. He had been eating a snack when he breathed wrong and a small particulate got stuck in the back of his throat. After several coughs he accidentally dropped the rest of his snack on the ground wear something moved up and started cleaning it up right away while he pounded on his chest with a hoof. Taking several deep breaths after it had been cleared he blinked a bit and took a better look at what was cleaning up the mess. It was a small Caco. He was grateful for the help but wondered whose companion this was. Looking around he didn’t see any pony who looked like they were the owner. Gently lifting them up he moved to find some event staff and ask about this caco.

Midas was on break from the restaurant and looking at the rest of the event for a moment when something bumped into him. He moved his mane aside and saw it was a nipix. It was cute and quite adorable. It made a cute bleating noise. Menerva had just been talking about having a companion. He smiled to himself thinking this would be a great surprise!. He placed a wing over the companion and went to find sompony who could help him with the paperwork.

Minerva was humming to herself. She snuck out of the restaurant after Midas left for his break. Her tail was wagging left and right just a bit as she was looking at deeplings. She had actually had a tank ready for about a week hiding in the closet. She was here today to get a deepling and bring them home to surprise her sweet spouse. After all she had been hinting at wanting a companion that Midas might like to surprise him. He hadn’t been too helpful but she thought a smart and friendly deepling might suit him well she was looking into the tank and there was not one but two deeplings who seemed so close together that it would be hard to separate them. It was like her and Midas. Smiling she spoke to the pony next to her about getting the paperwork done. He was in for a nice surprise.

Précis Treatise was simply reading a book near the tanks. She already had a fair number of companions and hadn’t been looking for more when a wet and slimy tentacle moved down and tapped her head. She glanced at it from the corner of her eye. She had been checking the crown and hadn’t turned the page in a bit. She smiled slightly and turned the page. The wet tentacle receded for now. She didn’t think they could read but it was clear they liked books and the turning of pages. … maybe one more companion wouldn’t hurt.

Derth squinted at the sunlight. Their tail shaded them mostly which was nice the sweet scent of the babals had been calming and so Derth ended up near them. One caught his eye and he looked at it more closely. Pleased he picked it up and inspected the pot. That was good too. Tilting his head down not fond of the light he decided he would take this little companion home as he was fond of pretty much everything about it.
