16. You find, hidden among the weeds, a small patch of bushes that you quickly recognize as wild oran berries! There aren't many ripe fruits, as it's probably quite popular among the local pokémon, but it's also a comforting sight to find something so familiar in such a wild place.
You do...
19. Your Fairlight-issued tracking device beeps at you, warning you that you're getting near the end of your authorized exploration region. You turn back - if not for worry of your safety, then most certainly for worry of the fines and potential expulsion associated with a breach of exploration...
12. A flock of some unknown pokémon flies far overhead, their voices drifting faintly down to you on the ground below. Their silhouettes slowly fade out of sight, their destination some place far away.
The distant calls of wild pokemon unnerved Lang. He was just barely holding onto his lunch...
Pinching his nose didn't help. This time Lang could actually taste the rot. His face more than a little green as he fought not to vomit all over everything, Lang had to force himself away. Maybe going back to the sea edge would help? At least then he wouldn't have to smell this.

15. A sour scent leads you to a foul discovery: the remains of some long-dead pokémon, mostly devoured by whatever scavengers have come across it. While its life is long over, the rotting carcass seems to be fostering some other new life, as the nearby area is adorned with fruiting mushrooms...
Getting closer, Lang could feel the smell coating the back of his tongue until he could nearly taste it. Gagging, Lang moved in a direction that was distinctly not this one. It wasn't worth it to try and grab anything from these poor dead things.

It was a very near thing. Lang got so close but in the end the stink overpowered him. He backed off before he could grab any of the mushrooms growing from the corpse. Rubbing his nose, he desperately hoped he could forget the scent soon.

With all his concentration on trying not to fall into the water and grab the mushrooms at the same time, Lang flinched back hard at the bite from whatever pokemon was underwater. Yelping, he scrambled back, holding the wounded hand and tried to figure out what it was. He couldn't exactly see...
11. You come across a dip in the terrain near the meeting of sand and grass, and it doesn't take long to realize it's leading down into a small cove and the start of a sea cave! While it's not very large yet, you can see the surf is slowly eroding the space - some day, this might be a lovely...
Let's see what Lang can find, if he'll have as good luck as his twin. Lan had gone out and come back with a variety of pokemon and several unique items. Surely Lang could do about as well. Or at least come back with something.

It was a bit of a reach, but Eulalio managed to grab a bunch of the mushrooms. Tucking them away in his bag, he turned back. All that trekking through the heavy foilage had tired him out and it was too late to see any pokemon. He'd try again tomorrow to find some new friends to bring home...

4. Venturing near the coast, you notice a rather deep crag with some strangely bright clusters on the edges. If you want, you or one of your pokémon could try to grab some for the research team.
