As you sit on the edge of one of the fishing docks to eat your lunch, you're surprised by a head sloooooowly peeking around the edge nearby, long neck craning to see what you're consuming. Maybe they want a bite of your sandwich...?

As you're walking, a blur scurrying across the beach gives you quite a startle, and you nearly fall over. You didn't even get a good look at it! (You've already claimed a shiny this game!)

A rolly polly little guy flops out of washed up suitcase as you heft it up, and stares at you in a daze. (How did they even get in there???) Will you pick them up?

As the sun sets, you're distracted by a flickering light on a distant corner of the beach. As you get closer, you realize it's a teeny creature, but it scurries into a piece of driftwood and refuses to come out so you can get a better look. Hopefully someone else can get it to come out later...

You spy a hyperactive rattata scurrying around the beach, but unfortunately it darts off before you can get too close. (You've already caught a non-shiny from the event!)

An oddly familiar pidove lands on your head, just, like, out of nowhere. What the hell, man? I guess it wants to be your friend, now?

You scoop the shiny pidove up and take it home. They're yours, now!

At the end of the day, you almost miss the little oddball staring at you from around one of the buildings at the dock. If not for that ... glint in their eye, you probably would have. It seems interested in following you home - do you want to let it? (Shiny Rattata)
