Yeah my house is a 5m drive away from the beach - and I work on the beach (local boardwalk) so we’re used to a lot of tourist stuff

My expertise tends to be laying on my back in the ocean and freaking out any time a fish goes by - but I enjoy kayaking as a new hobby - it gets me closer to the sea lions I love so much

They probably do, but the idea of sticking a paddle into water and not just toppling over doesn’t compute in my brain

Kayaking is my thing mostly - if I can sit upright that’s fine, but standing is precarious i don’t know how paddle surfers do it
