This pony isn't mine or even tangenically related to me but I was scrolling back through drops to find one and I REALLY love this kid, good job ghast you're always amazing. Is it my absolute favorite I'm not sure but there's been like literally hundreds of kids dropped I can't remember them all so this works .............

I ... would like to see more task based events like this! I love all our events but this one is fun and it's nice to have things that are tasky but also quick-ish to do without having to write a novella to accomplish.

Ampelio would probably put a bottle of wine or liquor into it, because a year's not long enough to need memories of the past but it is a nice time period for aging in a cool, dark place!

Task 15: Write one of your ponies' first journal entries of the new year.
Another year gone, another year arrived. It's such an odd thing to celebrate, isn't it? Yesterday is as much the same as tomorrow will be, but we choose some arbitrary point to slice between them as though our numbers truly matter to the passage of time. I suppose it is all well and good for record keeping, though it never fails to strike me as odd that the passage of old to new falls in the dead of winter; would it not make more sense to put it on the first steps of spring instead?
Whatever the case, though, Pentra's cocktails last night were excellent, and I won't complain on that front. He's gone today, off to see what's going on with that magical sphere we heard cropping up overnight - I'll probably make the trip tomorrow if he sends word. I do wonder what nonsense that's about; it could be an excellent recruitment opportunity though, as I'm sure there's bound to be plenty of lookers-on congregating to see such a thing. It'll be nice to get out for a while, anyway. It does get boring staying here all of the time.

Write: Perfect venue for a new year's party is going to be one with lots of space for all the decorations! You need balloons, streamers and plenty of tables for snacking, conversing and drinking (juice of course ^_~). There would be hot chocolate, candies, savory foods and all the sparkling juice you can dream of!

Honestly, Scopto would more than likely spend his New Year's Eve working, except for to take a small break to have a drink with his wonderful lifemate Pilsini. He would never understand quite how he got so lucky as to meet her. After having a drink and enjoying being done with the previous year for a short time, he would go back to working.
