Bones in the Water (punk boy) and Sea Dreamer are polar opposites. Bones is from a gang that has had a shift in power and he's struggling in either abandoning the only family he has to get away for the slowly growing violence, or just giving in and remaining loyal. He doesn't want to do what they want, i.e; expand territory, fight other gangs for power and supplies (they originally focused on tech restoration), etc etc, but what choice does he have? They're his one and only family.
Sea Dreamer is a peace-loving lady who often just sits by the ocean, enjoying nature. She sees love in places others don't and genuinely appreciates nature for what it is. Calm and collected, peace loving, and very different from him.
She's going to meet him and be the safety and peace he was seeking, and slowly open his world. Let him know the way he is doesn't have to be locked into what his family is, and that toxicity should best be left behind. She'll heal him, and in return he becomes a lot softer and the actual kind person he was meant to be.
