What was that?​

Lucille Bonnet hadn’t meant to cause chaos. Truly, despite the encouraged murmurs towards the local trouble-makers and giggles whenever Ricky wailed because, yet again, another trainer had called the enrichment center a daycare, Lucille wasn’t one to cause direct mayhem. Not something of this level, anyway– paperwork would have to be filed, lectures needed to be endured, and, worst of all, Ricky would have something to hold over Lucille’s head for at least the following year.​

No, this was most certainly not planned. Still, unfortunately for himself (and possibly the enrichment center), it was happening: Lucille had severely underestimated the ryujior currently in protective care within the center, resulting in a surplus of eggs the moment his back was turned.​

​

Now, to his credit, there had only been one or two at first. Then the next day, five. Then ten, and then… the point was made, and now Lucille had a problem. While the offending ryujior had been separated, there were now a hoard of eggs needing homes, and as much as Lucille thought ryujior’s were cute– like everyone else –he did not have room for 20+.​

Which means it was time to foist them off on the islanders!​

​

At least that would be an easy task in itself; the trainers had shown a feral fever for eevee and eeveelution hoarding, after all! It just meant that Lucille was about to have a mountain of files and papers to sort through…​

​

Ah, well, he deserved it, he supposed.​
