Greedy, voracious little guys, the typical Snapper is more interested in their next meal and how they're going to go about getting it. They're fairly even-tempered, provided you've ensured their almost insatiable hunger has been dealt with. Left hungry, Snappers have been known to be irritable and prone to biting. Fortunately, their food-driven nature makes them easy to bond with and train.

They can eat practically anything without ever falling ill — even poisonous substances. Their metabolism runs so quickly that toxins simply don’t have time to infiltrate their system. Paired with their powerful tail-mouth with jaws that can lock in place if desired, it's probably best to keep them well fed and happy.
