Hazel tucks the lil seed that landed on her noggin safely in her tail fluff!
Hearing the scream, the roar, the cry for help.... Hazel's first reaction was to head towards the cry, the one not followed by the sound of something big and scary, but seeing the way the others were splitting off gave her pause... On the one paw, she's not a fighter, and now she's got a little seedling to protect and keep safe! On the other.... It seemed the cry was getting the help it needed heading it's way, while the scream...
and Shai... well, they'd need more numbers to deal with whatever it was that roared, and Hazel couldn't forgive herself if she chose the safer route and the ones that rushed towards danger didn't come back. She may not be a fighter... but she IS a protector.
Tucking the seedling further into the fluff of her tail, she took off towards the right after the others.
