His name is Shamous. He is, well... a shaman. He is neutral in his voodoo, though he doesn't really call it that. (I haven't thought of a clever thing he calls it yet though). He'll help those with good or bad intentions, and give potions to whomever needs them. He has a big 'If it doesn't affect me negatively, it's not my problem' sort of attitude.
As for what he's looking for... someone who possibly shares his craft would be a perk, but not necessary. He also will need someone who won't mind traveling to the swamp to see him, if they don't live there already. I can't see him with someone truly evil and malicious, but other than that, he's open.
(now, i don't have someone who is into the art of voodoo, but i have someone who likes to collect the bones and does companion taxidermy XD)
i could see him wandering into swamp to collect weird shit and then bring them over like "HEY! look what i found today!" lol
