Personality: For all accounts and purposes (which is to say, when it benefits her) she's a shy, soft-spoken bat. She is very good at making herself appear small and blending in with the background. She loves to bake and to sew - she works at a music store in the spring district and is more than used to having her coworkers talk over her, or getting pushed around by her customers (who tend to be the usual retail customers "oh, you like X band? name 10 of their songs, yeah, I knew you couldn't, wannabe" )
That said, her daytime personality (when she's working) is pretty different from her nighttime personality. Peppa will typically go home, ditch the braid, tussles up her mane and put in her piercings and spiked cuffs, before hitting up the nearest divebar. She uses the unoriginal alias "Spearmint Spritz" (again, pronouncing it more like Spea, cause darn those r sounds!) when she goes out and is generally more outspoken and aggressive. She becomes more territorial and possessive, more outgoing and flirty.
Since finding a mate in Claude, her attitude's have mixed more often and eventually she'll lash out at her manager at the record store and get fired for snark. It's at that point that she'll go join Claude at his tattoo parlor - and learn that trade.

Elspeth had been too scared to cross, while Edith proudly strode across, claiming that it was obviously safe and boasting that anypony could cross - that Elspeth was just being a baby. Yet for all her twin's confidence, her hoof still caught on a knot in the bark and she tumbled into the water. Edith was swept downstream and Elspeth ran home to get help. They never did find a body, but Elspeth and her family have long since come to terms with the fact that there will never be one to find. Elspeth has since bought a plot of land near the Rushing River and goes out frequently to ensure that no one goes near the river.
